I have utilized Dr. Shadids' services on several occasions and have never been disappointed. In fact I have always been delighted. He is honest, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He never wants his patients to appear 'over done'. I would never go to anyone else. He always feels like a friend.

Dr Derek changed my entire life. I didn't even look for any other physician, for I've seen so many incredible results of his. I knew his process in studying one's body to be able to give them the absolute best results. I had no confidence in my body for 35 years until after my surgery. I had liposuction of my back and hips, a breast lift with the fat transferred to my breasts to prevent having implants. My scars are basically invisible and I now have a beautiful waistline with gorgeous hips and gorgeous breasts! The best plastic surgeon there is! I felt so comfortable and at ease with Dr Shadid. Kind, friendly, caring bedside manner and knew I was in the best place possible. His results are amazing and I never expected to see these results. I’m still in disbelief at his precise skills. I’m out of pain and I was shocked he gave me his cell phone number to call even as he left to go on vacation after my surgery. His girls are amazing and wonderful just like he is. Very organized office that makes you feel like you are the only one who take good care to answer any questions. I had a long list of questions to ask Dr Shadid at the consult but he answered all before I could even ask him. He is a perfectionist and you will not regret using him. On December 06, 2021, Dr. Derek Shadid explanted by breast implants. It was a journey that began when I chose to correct my severe breast asymmetry in 2004 with silicone implants. Over the course of the next 17 years, my health began to fail, in my belief, due to the breast implants. In 2018, I learned that some women were "getting their life back" by removing their implants in a procedure known as an enbloc capsulectomy. At that time, no one in my hometown was considered an expert in this type of removal. I found Dr. Derek Shadid's name on a website that discussed physicians who were considered skilled in this technique. I consulted with him then, and knew that if I ever made the decision to removed my implants, he would be my choice! Dr. Shadid is a perfectionist. Seriously. He is all business when you're there for an appointment, but has a great bedside manner as well. He is also very funny, which I appreciate. He is truly a miracle worker. My new lifted breasts look beautiful!

He was so kind and listened to my story. When I left I had such hope. Now I’m 3 months post surgery and I couldn’t be happier. I just wanted to feel good again that has already started and the big bonus is they look great much better then I thought possible. Very thankful I did it. It was worth it and I would absolutely recommend Dr Shadid.

I had surgery with Dr. Derek Shadid on Jan 7, 2021 to have my implants removed and a lift. I can not recommend Dr. Shadid or his staff enough. They were so very kind and so very caring during the entire process from beginning to the end. I had one consult with him and knew he was the doctor that I want to do my surgery. I have been sick with BII for a couple years and I feel 90% better at 6 months out. My scars are barely noticeable and have healed beautifully due to his amazing meticulous work. I can't even begin to tell them thank you enough for doing such a great job and his commitment to making sure things are done 100% so his patients have the best results ever. I underwent a bilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer, followed by breast reconstruction. ( Different surgeon, Dr. Shadid was probably in high school at the time.) Fast forward 10 years, silicone breast implants are believed to increase your chances of breast cancer. My oncologist recommend the removal of my implants. Dr. Derek Shadid , whom was highly recommended, performed the removal of my breast implants. His surgical skills are simply, amazing, as well as his knowledge of en bloc/ total capsulectomy. There is not a better Plastic Surgeon in the southwest. Consider yourself extremely fortunate to secure him as your physician.

Dec 28, 2020 I had my implants removed and had a surgical breast lift by Dr. Shadid. Him and his whole staff are extremely professional and friendly. Dr. Shadid’s surgical skills are impeccable, meticulous, and I am extremely pleased with my results. I suffered from Breast Implant illness for 4 years and now most of symptoms are gone. Dr. Shadid was the 9th doctor I had visited regarding removing breast implants, and doing a lift. He was certainly different. The others told me, "No, you'll be too scarred." or "No, you will be too small and you should put an implant in." From the beginning of our consultation, I stated what I wanted, and he listened! Told me my options, and probable end result. He heard me. He didn't project HIS ideas of what would look good on my body. He thought it was good if I wanted to try to just use my own body tissue, and said there are other options to add volumn if I was unhappy. I felt so comfortable I knew he is the one. Set appt next day. His work is so exceptional. He is extremely precise and yet relatable at the same time. His office team are all so pleasant and helpful. I absolutely LOVE my results. They are natural and beautiful. The best part is, I feel most like me now. Choosing Dr. Shadid was one THE best decisions I have ever made! Excellent in every way!

Dr Shadid and his staff (Leslie, April, Patricia) were all extremely compassionate and caring. The whole staff is knowledgeable and kind and the office is clean and comfortable. They are very detailed and forthcoming as far as medical help as well as costs. I had an autoimmune disease of the salivary glands which made me very thirsty. This precluded me from going the standard 8-10 hours without drinking before surgery. Dr Shadid worked with the anesthesiologist to make special arrangements for me prior to surgery. He cared about my particular situation and helped to make me more comfortable. He is very professional and makes you feel at peace and less anxious about your surgery. I am completely happy with the results of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr Shadid and his office.
