When I asked Dr. Nathan if he would get a break at upcoming Christmas, he replied that he would happily be on call Christmas Day, which was fine, because of his love for his profession and dedication to it. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, compassionate, and shared extensive information about my condition, implications for the future, and best habits to avoid it reoccurring. Consummate professional.

Crosses all his T's and dots all his I's
Dr Nathan is exceptional at surgery and follow up care. Has an amazing team. Takes time to support and understand his patients needs. Remarkable beside manner. I went to him a mess and he has been honest and upfront about my condition. He does all his homework before any surgery to make sure it is the best decision for you. He even reads all his messages himself in the portal. He has me feeling immensely better and is still in the process of making me feel better. I have to do the right side, he already did the left. I feel confident he will take great care of me even though the surgery is high risk. Not only is he a great surgeon but he is a remarkable human being. If you need anything he will make sure himself that you are taken care of. Got lucky when I met Dr Derek Nathan! I couldn't even pick my head up before meeting him. Now I can and know when he does my next surgery I will be brand new!
