I have had several surgeries performed by Dr Taylor over nearly 30 years. Always with good results. Never had excessive pain. This past surgery, total knee, went especially well, IMO. Essentially no pain. But, be sure ti follow his ore & post op instructions. Very important. He is also a very pleasant guy & easy to discuss sutgery.

Considerate Doctor good listener.
Gave me all the time I needed. He answered all my questions and did not try to talk me into anything that I was not ready for.

Dr Taylor recently performed a total knee replacement for me. The surgery went well and I am making progress with the rehab physical therapy. I appreciate that he did not rush to surgery, but tried less invasive approaches first. When surgery was needed, he addressed the pros and cons and answered all of my questions. I had a realistic expectation of the surgery and the recovery period. I highly recommend him.

He lacks bedside manners. He made me feel I was wasting his time. If he had taken the time to show me my x-rays that might have helped me understand why he felt surgery wasn't an option at this time. I feel my knee condition has changed. My daily routine has been drastically affected. I can tolerate a great deal of pain but my activity level is being compromised by my lack of mobility. My former doctor in the group retired and I think Dr Taylor feels I should have taken action 3 yrs ago. I was afraid of the surgery. Since that time more of my friends have successfully recovered from knee replacement surgery. That has helped me. He seemed appalled that I would even consider surgery. All he suggested was the gel injections. I am not planning to go back for a follow up.

I have been seeing Dr. Taylor for over 15 years for various issues. He has performed two surgeries on me as well. I trust his judgment wholeheartedly and wouldn't doubt his diagnosis for a second. I now travel over an hour to see him. I would definitely recommend him to others.

After 18 months of conservative treatment with another doctor at Orthopedic One I was still in terrible pain and could barely walk so I went to Dr. Taylor hoping for a replacement. He basically told me that I was too young and overweight and I would just have to deal with the pain or possibly get yet another injection. It seems in his mind that overweight folks do not deserve to have a good quality of life. Perhaps if I could walk I could lose weight!
