Dr. Denise Bruckerhoff, DO

She came into exam room wearing a surgical scrub hat covering all her hair, large mask, scrubs, & gloves-very off putting. Poor bedside manner. I was sent for X-rays & at next appt for physical, I asked for the results as they weren’t posted on my portal (portal very generic). She charged me for 2 OFFICE VISITS!? as question was not part of physical! I got sick & needed an appt, but she wouldn’t see me. Wanted to do phone visit-NOT ACCEPTABLE. I called DISPATCH HEALTH & they came to my house, diagnosed me, gave rx, & took X-rays. Sister is an RN & told me to report her to AMA for not seeing sick patients. I need a dr when I’m sick! She is standoffish & cold. I left her & found a wonderful, pleasant dr with a comprehensible portal& easy to talk to, unlike the DRILL SARGENT this dr is.

Dr. Bruckerhoff takes the time necessary to answer my questions. I’m a senior whose health is starting to change, and she’s always willing to give me diet and exercise advice to help improve an existing condition or prevent new health issues. I never feel rushed when I see her.

She takes time with you and listens to you. Explains things very well. Very caring.

It was a regular check-up. Dr. Bruckerhoff always greets me with a smile and thanks me for taking the time to come in. She asks how I have been doing and if I have been any problems we need to address. She then proceeds with her questions and exam. When she is finished she lets me know how I am doing and we address any concerns she may have and how we should proceed with treatment. Her staff is wonderful and kind.

Not empathetic nor warm. Too strict and no bending on anything whatsoever. Terrible bedside manner and would not recommend her to anyone. Robotic in nature

I have always been incredibly impressed by this office and Dr. Bruckerhoff. She is extremely thorough during her exams and goes over and beyond. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a doctor care this much! I can’t recommend this group enough!

I had seen Dr. Bruckerhoff a few times and really liked her. Even made sure my new insurance was accepted by her last time I switched. Last had an annual physical in Sept of 2022. I had my 1st baby the very end of July in 2023 so was not ready to have my annual physical in September as I was trying to navigate that. I just checked my call log and they called me on 9-21 and 9-22, left voicemails saying I was due for a physical and if I wanted to schedule one I COULD call them back. I wanted to wait til I felt more myself to follow up so I didn’t call them back. It’s March of ‘24 and I just called to try and schedule that appointment and they informed me I had been terminated as a patient and a letter “should” have been sent telling me that. I can understand trying to maintain a patient caseload or census that’s appropriate, but would have really preferred more opportunities to explain my situation prior to being terminated. Disappointed in how it all played out because I did like her

This doctor has “medical “ staff working for her. The doctor refuses to call a patient on the phone. She wants the patient to come in and see her.

This doctor is one interesting person. First met her probably 2 years after COVID. She still required a mask to be worn. While sitting in her office discussing why I was there (for a physical exam), the mask slipped under my nose. She stopped the conversation and wouldn't go any further until the mask was above my nose. It seems at the least counterintuitive that anyone with a science-based career would act abjectly ignorant of the science of masks and COVID, while at the same time acting so petty. I prefer a doctor who knows something about the topic of health and keeps up with the science. This doctor does not. She ultimately sent me a letter, costing her $8.64 to send from a Mansfield address to a Mansfield address, informing me that she was terminating the patient-physician relationship ... something I had already done more than a year earlier. I've seen a lot of doctors in my years. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I've been in Dr.Bruckerhoff's care for about 10 years. At my mature age, I have had experience with a number of doctors, and none are as thorough and connected to their patients as Dr Bruckerhoff.

I feel so blessed to have her as my PCP. She is thorough and always friendly and open to my questions. She’s good about asking if I have any questions or did I understand.When Emily greets me, she knows my name is so sweet. Ryle is thorough and attentive; she gives a pretty good shot, too.I suggest this practice if you want good care.

Dr. Bruckerhoff is an excellent primary care physician. She is thorough, attentive and empathetic. The staff is professional, courteous and efficient.

Was sent a letter from office cancelling me as a patient for misunderstanding a question. Very unprofessional!!

She is a good Doctor but unfortunately she is not professional, I was a patient and twice I had allergies and she did not want to see me in person. How she is going to know if do not make a physical exam. She always scare, she studied and swore to attend patients, really I do not understand, I choose her for my primary Doctor but she do not meet my expectation. Also when I visited when I do not understand because my English is not well, I see her like an upset, I felt like discriminated.

Had a cough and she would not see me in her office. Told me the best she could do was a teleconference. Exactly how could she listen to my lungs or heart and do any type of diagnosis. Also, had a possible UTI and did not even address that since I had the cough. Had to go to my Urologist. I decided to change to a doctor that would see SICK patients and not afraid of them.

She is my favorite doctor of all time - she listens to what's bothering me, and then suggests a conservative plan to correct it, with other options we might consider if those don't work. She doesn't just prescribe a pill and wish you good luck, she really wants to get to the heart of the issue and fix it.

Dr Bruckerhoff is very caring and very thorough in dealing with her patient. She is practical and understanding of her patients needs. Dr. Bruckerhoff listens and refers if needed. Dr Bruckerhoff is very respectful of the patient and very comforting.

Dr. Bruckerhoff is the best Doctor I have ever had. She goes above & beyond to help in every way needed in my medical care! I never feel rushed, and Dr. Bruckerhoff pays close attention to all of my medical needs.

I did not have to wait long. Dr. Bruckerhoff is very caring, and addresses all of my questions.

I have been to Dr. Bruckerhoff twice, at this point. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or that any question was insignificant. She is very friendly and has a very caring attitude for her patients. Her nurse is also great. She is very easy to talk to and makes you feel welcome in their office.
