Amazing pcp
Dr. Bilbao has been my doctor for many years though cancer and all of the things . She has always been responsive to messages listens at appointment makes necessary referrals and is genuinely concerned for your well being. I do not work near her office anymore but drive 30 min to her because she is awesome. When you message her you get a response usually 24 hours of not 48 but that is rare.

Dismissive. This doctor does not have the time to be your PCP. I have tried to get Bilbao to give me a referral to a dermatologist for a year and a half, but I cannot get through to Bilbao. I am switching to a new PCP that has the time to give me the care I need and have been paying for in health premiums.

We left Kaiser because the pediatrics were so bad there, but my husband and I were both very sad to leave Dr Bilbao. Empathetic, attentive, proactive, and efficient, even within the ridiculous time constraints Kaiser puts on their doctors.

Dismissive, doesn’t listen, cognitive biases, but does it with affable manner. Fine for check box medicine (UTI, HTN, DM2, etc), avoid for anything more complex.

Wonderful doctor. She has been my PCP since I first got Kaiser insurance in 2014 or so. Super helpful, human, and easy to talk to. Always helpful, and super available for email/phone consultations which I really appreciate bc it's not always easy to schedule an office visit.
