Dr. Demequa Moore, MD

My wait was never long. Dr. Moore and her staff were all very friendly and respectful. I never left her office with a question unanswered. I told her that I wanted my tubes cut, fried and tied. She explained to me that burning was no longer a popular practice as they tend to heal back together and pregnancy becomes possible again. She made sure that I was sure about my choice before handing me documents to sign for the procedure. During the delivery, my son’s umbilical cord was around his neck. She simply asked me to stop pushing, she pulled it over his head and we proceeded to deliver a healthy baby. Immediately after our delivery I was wheeled to the operating room for my tubal ligation. I reminded Dr. Moore to make my scars as pretty on the inside as they would be on the outside. It was a beautiful experience with a beautiful group of individuals. I referred a friend to her who went into labor after Dr. Moore did and was sad that she couldn’t deliver her daughter. She loved her too.

She was my Dr when my daughter was born and we had multiple complications prior to delivery, I was never comfortable with her care but I was so far along in pregnancy that I couldn’t change doctors. She was recommended to me by a friend but that friend quickly apologized to me after seeing the level of care she provided for “single mothers” she noticed that I would come to appointments alone and emphasize that all the time. She always had a mean demeanor with me and other patients. 5 years later and my child is still exhibiting the affects of a horrible labor and delivery experience, she has had to go to physical therapy since she had been born and I have not once receive an apology to me or my family for the hurt on my child. I will never recommend her to anyone ever. I don’t even know why she’s still practicing to be honest. I hope you read this review and understand what you are really about.

Whatever you do, do not let Dr.Moore deliver your child. She is a kind person and she has amazing bedside manner, however she is also incompetent and she lacks knowledge. She delivered my child, and because of her negligence, I am no longer able to live a normal and active life (physical activity, normal bathroom trips, etc.) and I am having to go to a specialist to reverse what could have been avoided.

Dr.Moore was my OB throughout my pregnancy and after she was very great at making me feel comfortable and helping with my concerns .

Dr. Moore was very dismissive and hardly answered my questions, didn't tell me what might be wrong with me or even try to diagnose me. And as I was still talking to here she was literally walking out the door. I left holding back tears. This was my first and last time in her office.
