Listened before poking around. Asked follow up questions on all areas. Not afraid to be friendly and a medical professional. I trust her judgement and highly recommend Doctor Dotson. Been seen three separate times, two scheduled, one for acute care. Sh “gets it”.

Disappointing
Finally scheduled an appointment as a new patient for my daughter and myself, which was three months away from me initiating the call. Fine. I get it and we were new patients. Front desk call on 6/30/22 stating the doctors wouldn’t be in the office 8/15/22 and I would need to reschedule. Cool, no biggie. Call the next morning because I got the message after hours and was informed the next opening wouldn’t be until October. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Now I get it things happen and things come up that’s out of our control. But to make it ask us to wait another 2-3 months is not unacceptable but unprofessional as well. Clearly this isn’t the office or doctor for my family and I was hoping it was because I had heard good things. But either the front office needs to get things in order scheduling wise or Dr. Dotson needs to scale back on clients. Very disappointment in our interactions or the lack thereof.

Best Doctor!
Dr. Dotson was very thorough to me. She would review my symptoms and would properly diagnose. Dr. Dotson knew I didn’t like all the drugs to be prescribed but, she would explain the drugs would correct my medical issue quicker, bringing me to good health. She also was my mother’s Dr. also with good diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Dotson is a great doctor but, I can’t go to St. Peters for a Dr visit, to far away. I give Dr. Dotson the highest review of 5 or 10 stars if possible. Best wishes to Dr. Dotson. Margaret M.

I need to find out where Dr Dotson is going to, I want to keep her as my Doctor, she has been for years. I called the office for appointment and she's not seeing any pts anymore, is what I was told. Is she okay, I don't want to come to the office anymore if she not there. Please tell me where she's going. Thanks

I am only giving two stars as Dr. Dotson is okay, but I would give a negative 5 stars to the staff. I was a patient of hers for years and always had an issue with the staff. On MyMercy, which is an online platform to reach out to the office, it says they will respond within 2-3 days. There were times I did not hear back for over a week AND my question was not answered. Over the past year, I have called and left them voicemails but never received a call back. The ONE time they called me back is when I scheduled to see a different doctor in her office and they did not like that because I was taking money from her. I was told "I have to see Dr. Dotson because I'm her patient". I am a patient/customer, I can see whomever I want to see. I have decided to no longer be a patient of Dr. Dotson because I cannot put up with that staff. A different doctor with an awesome staff has been recommended to me.

Last seen her in 2016. Became disabled with no insurance had to go to free clinic. Finally got benefits, looked her up and gave her office a call. They said I was considered a new patient. This site says she is excepting new patients. Which is it? Would love to see her again!

She was unprofessional and rude. She expects you to follow all of her recommendations , no exceptions. She is quick to make judgements without getting all of the facts.

I was referred to her by a friend of mine because I wasn't happy with my primary care doctor. Dr. Dotson is extremely thorough, she asks questions and she offers me options with regard to treatment. Additionally, I am in a room and seen within 20 minutes of my arrival. I appreciate that she respects my time and she listens to my concerns. I highly recommend her!

she did not care about my health in the least bit. abysmally incompetent, my high blood pressure which she was inept at caring for. She did not want to admit her utter ineptitude and refer me to a specialist. Also, she is completely cold - she doesn't even look at my face, simply writes her prescription on the computer and leaves the office without even telling me. She doesn't even ask me a questions. After phone calls and visits, letters, made me wait 45 days to fillout an emergency form.
