Excellent doctor
I recently turned 65 have been a patient of Dr. Donovan for many years and find her to be one of the best healthcare providers I've had. She practices an integrative approach that is my preference. She has solved some health issues through nutrition and more natural medications instead of beginning with pharmaceutical solutions. That said, when the issue demands serious medical intervention she acts promptly. She is a genuinely caring person with excellent instincts and expertise.

She didn't take my anxiety seriously and consistently fat shamed me and made ridiculous claims that losing weight would fix anything and everything. Seemed like it was the only thing she knew how to handle so she focus on that. I wanted to stop going to see her or any doctor because she made feel so bad and caused me to feel panicked at the thought going.

I had abdominal pain for 5 days, my primary practitioner gave me instructions to go to ER if the pain worsened and to notify her through her service if this occurred. Upon explaining this to Dr. Donovan, she told me to NOT go to the ER, place a hot pack on my stomach and take some OTC medication. The 2nd call was to notify her I had gone to ER - no call back for over 4 hours until the ER MD told me I had to be admitted for severe pancreatitis - THEN she called back but never notified my MD.
