Dr. Chona’s office staff were very kind, caring and efficient. The wait was less than 10 minutes, if that. Dr. Chona was very thorough, kind, compassionate and understanding of my concerns and she eased my concerns both before and after my procedures. Definitely a great experience.

Dr. Chona is a lifesaver! I struggled for more than 2 years with stomach problems. When I went to her, she figured out the issue & put me on the road to recovery. I’ve been doing great ever since. I went from not want to leave my house to enjoying life again. My temperamental tummy is 95% better & I only have issues occasionally. I highly recommend Dr. Chona!!

Dr. Chona is one the most compassionate physicians that I have ever known. She is competent, thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients as if we were part of her own family. Her energetic, engaging personality is very healing, in itself. My wife and I both love Dr. Chona. She is a gift to the medical profession.

We waited a long time before being seen. The doctor was rushed. I had brought all my previous information and the doctor did not take the time to look at it and discuss it with me. When I told her about one of my problems, she wanted proof of a test that I had it. A test that I had over 10 years ago! Otherwise she would have me do a nasty, uncomfortable test before she would prescribe a medicine for it. I don’t think she was able to read the gastrogram that my previous GI doctor did. She did not understand what Neural dysfunction/Neuromuscular disorders of the GI tract. Of course my previous GI doctor was a genius. Published, researcher, and inventor of diagnostic instruments. Hard to find a GI doctor to compare to him.

Dr. Chona was attentive, kind, and professional in listening to me explain my symptoms, asking questions, then explaining what she would do to help me. Her staff was also efficient and kind. A very positive experience.

Yesterday was my first & the staff was so kind & friendly, one of the nurses made me feel as if I were speaking with my younger sister. Dr Chona’s energy & smile provide what can be a stressful event some light. Also the lady that makes the appointments thoroughly goes through the dates, hospital, & when to take meds.

Dr. Chona is excellent ! The support staff, not so much. Dr. Chona’s MA is very nice and accommodating. The rest of her staff, not so much. It seems they are there for a paycheck only and not because they enjoy their job. While trying to contact her office to finish scheduling a procedure, I was told they would have to return my call as they were on an answering service while in clinic. When I asked to clarify what clinic meant, they said while they were seeing patients. I said let me clarify this, you are on an answering service when you are closed and while you are open seeing patients so basically you never take calls and your patients are either available when your staff returns a call to schedule and you can talk to them that second or to bad, leave another message and you will either be available when they happen to try to call you again or too bad again. Translation, if you have a job and can’t take phone calls at work, good luck ever getting something scheduled.

Dr. Chona listens to the patient. She answers questions and concerns with compassion and gives responses that a lay person can easily understand. She is a true professional.
