Dr. Deepa Abraham, MD

I had cataract surgery last year. I chose Milauskas Eye Institute because of their reputation in the community. I was told by my surgeon that I could choose the lenses I want if I pay for them. She explained the difference in the 3 option she gave me. I picked the ones I was told I would not see any glare or halos at night. The Doctor was wrong and would never admit it. I put on a credit card $8000 and I see glare and halos at night. For the past year I have done everything the doctor has told me to do to try to fix the problem to no avail, and a lot of expense to me. I still see glare and halos. I’ve asked them for help and my $8000 back and have been told, “No!” I’m so disappointed in this institution that I trusted to take care of my eyes. I am here to worn anybody who is naïve like me and thinking this is a reputable eye institution. Stay away. Seek another ophthalmology group because they clearly don’t care about their patients only the $

Dr. Abraham is a wonderful doctor, and she works at two locations. My doctor in Kirkland referred me to her for laser treatments to reduce internal pressure in both eyes. She did the treatments in Seattle, one week apart, and I took the bus both times. She then did my follow up visit in Kirkland, which I really appreciate. I really like her!
