Dangerous
Our son, who was seeing Gandhi for a few YEARS, began cutting himself. Her advice to us, his parents, was to tell him he should quit seeking attention. Stupid, stupid us followed the “expert’s” advice. This resulted in a serious suicide attempt. SHE IS DANGEROUS. Our son then needed 2 years of intensive out of state treatment and, due to that, regained his life. She should not be treating teens or anyone for that matter.

Great Listener
Dr. Gandhi has been my doctor for about 5 years now. I find that she listens to me and we work together to make sure I am on the correct medication. If I need a quicker appointment, her staff usually can get me in within 24 hours.

It was a nightmare. This doctor is avaricious and lazy. She doesn't care about patients, only dollars.

After years of help from Dr. Gandhi, money was the bottom line. She really does not care or have compassion for anyone.

Dr. Gandhi has been my doctor for at least 8 years. I called to make an appt and because I hadn't seen her in a year I was being considered a new patient and had to pay to have a new evaluation. During the course of the year she was still renewing my prescriptions so I was still in her care. I thought that was utterly ridiculous. I made several phone calls to try to talk to her but was never called back. I decided not to go back to her.

She is the absolute worst Dr I have ever encountered. All she cares about is money. She claimed my insurance was a "hassle" and we agreed to a cash price of $80. On my next visit she changed her mind and demanded $100. I paid, but whenever I would go to get my prescription filled she refused to fill it unless I paid for my next visit in advance. So, 2 weeks before my next appointment, if I did not have the money I would go without my medications. This turned my life into a living hell. When I tried to discuss this matter she refused and instructed her secretary to tell me I would no longer me a patient. She left me with no meds, no plan, and no referral to another Doctor. I am taking this matter up with the medical board and she is now being investigated for medical abandonment. She has already been disciplined by the board twice, so if you are a patient keep in mind the board may take away her license (as it should). Stay far away, she will destroy your life.

Dr. Gandhi was referred to me by two ladies at my church and I could not be more pleased. She brought me back from the "pits of hell" in 2006 and 2016. She's very nice. I dont understand the negative reviews she is getting. I've been going to her for 12 years now. She saved my *** twice. Don't think I will EVER try weaning off these meds again. Not worth it if you already know you have a chemical imbalance. Give her a try!!! She's also board certified!!!

I WAS a patient of Dr. Gandhi's for 10 years and she was a caring doctor. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me get better. Over the last 4 years, the practice has declined. Her office staff is rude and very unhelpful. When you try to communicate your concerns, she never responds. it seems the practice is only concerned about money and not about patients.

I have gone to dr. Gandhi for years and the waiting time is far less than any other physiatrist I have been to and she has two front desk girls and they are very friendly if you can't get through and it goes to voicemail I leave a message and they have always been very prompt about calling me back. It is so hard to find a good physciatrist and I have enjoyed my experience for years now. Dr. Gandhi has a great bedside manner and doesn't judge you like some others I have seen in the past.

Dr. Ghandi almost killed my daughter. She carelessly prescribed her 90 pain pills knowing she has a history of drug abuse. She only cares about making money.

You spend at least 40 minutes in the waiting room to only spend 5 minutes with her. She is kind, I guess, but she doesn't really care and doesn't talk to you about why something is happening. She just prescribes pills and doesn't tell you anything about them. Also, her front desk people are AWFUL.

She doesn't do therapy, just prescribes pills. If you want therapy, she will refer you to someone else, with less qualifications. Never met a psychiatrist that didn't offer therapy.

Would not recommend. Odd and distant. Does not listen. Put me back on a medication that I specifically told her was ineffective. Expensive. We met for about fifteen minutes. I waited in the lobby for longer than my appointment.Total waste of time.

Dr. Gandhi is an excellent physician. Her office staff however, is rude and has argued with my daughter on several occasions about our insurance plan. We have a $60.00 co-pay and the girl insists we pay the full amount that we have not met our deductible. Its right on the card but she refuses to read it. We drive over 60 miles to see her and my daughter is treated in this manner. Not very happy with this individual, but Dr. G is great.
