Dr. Caspers recognized that I was having a negative reaction to metoprilol and took me off it, and prescribed diltiazem 24 hour 120 mg , which has lowered my blood pressure and stabilized my heartbeat. Metoprilol did nothing for my atrialfibulation, and drained me of adrenalin---I was very weak whenever I tried to do anything. Dr. Caspers also treated my cough and wheezing.
