Horrible Bedside Manners
If I could give her zero stars, I would. I was referred to Dr. Russell when I was pregnant. The first issue I had is that she was very booked, resulting in the office only booking me with her PA until my 3rd Trimester. My greatest concern with her was her HORRIBLE bedside manners when I was in labor. She ignored me when I told her that I was is pain multiple times (ex. when stitching me up because I tore, when the catheter was inserted, etc.). She speaks down to her patients. I would NEVER go back to her.

Dr. Russell was recommended to me after it was discovered I needed to have a hysterectomy. She was wonderful! The surgery was performed with the robotic daVinci and it was amazing. Released from the hospital the same day and barely experienced any pain at all. Pretty much fully healed in 2 weeks. I wish I had gone to her for care sooner!

The doctor has the worst bedside manner of any medical professional I’ve seen. She’s cold, unfriendly, and abrupt. Her NP’s and staff have always been warm, helpful, and educational, but the doctor is rude.

Poor bedside manner! My 25 year old daughter was to have a procedure done halfway through my daughter got apprehensive about a biopsy being done and Dr Russell refused to continue on said she had to reschedule! Now no biopsy was done. On previous occasion she would not take no for an answer for guardisol injection. No bedside manner especially with young women!

LOVE Dr. Russell, was a patient for 8 years. She did go through NPs and MAs rather quickly. Same receptionists. Front desk lady is super nice/sweet, always greets you as you walk in. Julie, in scheduling, is extremely disrespectful- if there is one person this office should not have in it, it is her. Every time I called to reschedule an appointment she would tell me that I NEEDED the appointment ON that date and would refuse to cancel it, which in turn I was charged the missed appointment fee.

Dr. Russell and her staff are extremely caring. My GYN told me I needed a hysterectomy and I had scheduled my surgery but a friend told me to see Dr. Russell instead. Her compassion and surgical background convinced me that she was the right person. I drove from Howell to get it done by her using the daVinci robot. I was out of the hospital 4 hours after my surgery. I had zero pain after. I was at Disney with my grandkids 2 weeks after my surgery.

They go through Nurse Practitioners extremely fast. I had been a patient for 9 years and had seen 4 different NP in that time. I loved most of them and found their service to be outstandng, however the most recent one (October 2015) is al but professional. Her bedside manner is atrocious and I was not only pressured into getting a test that I said No to but she snapped at me when I tried to ask her questions regarding my medication and health. The office staff is VERY unprofessional as well!
