Clear explanation of expectations
Dr. Kowalchuk was pleasant, review my x-ray and discussed my healing timeframe which didn’t require a surgery. Additionally, she discussed my path back to cycling and running. The only negative was a 45 min wait in the lobby to be seen.

Good Visit as always...
Everything from the scheduling, to the friendly reminders and the online preparation (patient info) before the visit, to the friendly staff made this another great experience. Dr. Kowalchuk is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. She has me on the right track again to heal what has been a painful issue.

She is a Gifted Healer!
In the months since my first visit and long after the steel pins came out of my toes, Dr. Kowalchuk has always been extremely thorough and professional. She also has a remarkably genuine bedside manner. She practices active listening and compassion. IF I HAD TO, I would gladly choose her to operate on my OTHER foot too! Yesterday morning, I walked 8.3 miles before the sun came up and the once shattered foot came through for me with flying colors. No pain or soreness at all. It “might” be stronger and more stable than it was before my accident. What a blessing it was to have her provide me with exceptional care! Thank you!!!!

No Time and No Concern
My wife saw Dr. Kowalchuk at the Johns Creek facility yesterday. Dr. Kowalchuk blew in and out of the exam room showing the new modern medicine technique of seeing as many patients as possible in a day but spending no time with any of them. There was no warmth and no showing of concern for someone with two fractures and in a fair amount of pain. Her assistant told us she would have a prescription for pain sent to our pharmacy. Nothing yesterday so I called and was told that Dr. Kowalchuk would sign the prescription when she got a chance. Really? Five seconds to sign something is a burden? This morning, still nothing at the pharmacy. Wow. A doctor who doesn't care at all, doesn't complete treatment and doesn't follow up. Stay away from Dr. Kowalchuk and the Johns Creek Resurgens facility.

Thanks, Doc
Dr. Kowalchuk pinpointed the probable location of the source of my pains around my left outer ankle. No broken bones. I feel better about healing with the PT prescription and foot-ankle brace. Thank you, Doctor.

Terrible Bedside Manner
Like many before me have stated, her bedside manner is an issue. She is dismissive of symptoms that don’t align with her personal opinions of your injury. She comes off arrogant, uncaring, and immature. Skilled or not, she lacks the basic etiquette required to be a good doctor.
