Wonderful!
Several friends referred me to Dr Kelly and she is wonderful! Efficient, kind, listens…truly listens. She got me all set up with long overdue testing. Her Nurse (April) was amazing, and phlebotomist got the needle in on the first try. Love the energy of the office and feel lucky that she was accepting new patients.

My doctor appointment with Dr. Deborah Kelly was the most infuriating & disappointing doctor visit I’ve ever had. She has the absolute worst bedside manner and was so condescending in the way she spoke to me. I was astonished at how she questioned my prior medical history as it felt very antagonistic. I walked away from that appointment feeling dismissed, disrespected, and judged. I have been employed with a fortune 500 health insurance and well-being company for over 20 years and I will definitely tell my colleagues to avoid this practice if this is a representation of the care one will receive here.

Dr. Kelly, her staff and facility are terrific. There has never been a time that I felt she ever rushed me. She is thorough, listens and discusses her thoughts and treatment. Her treatments and follow-up have always been good. Ive been seeing her for almost 8 years.

Wonderful Experience
It saddens me to see the poor reviews for Dr. Kelly, because she and her staff are wonderful! Dr. Kelly is highly qualified, and very thorough in her exam and testing. If there is an issue, you can be sure that she will address it! Her staff has always been prompt to contact me with results, and to help me find a specialist when needed. I have never had to wait very long, and the office staff is always very pleasant and professional. I can only say my experience with Dr. Kelly and her practice has been excellent and I would highly recommend!

Never See this Doctor
Horrible , the RN are the only positive professionals in this practice. Never reviews test results, and orders tests that never should be ordered. Treat every visit with ‘so why are you here’…. Because it my checkup, your a doctor that I have been seeing for 20 years…..

I have been seeing Dr. Kelly for over 10 years. She is excellent! She really worked with me regarding a family history issue that I wanted to ignore. She was patient yet professional. I am very thankful for her thorough care and her kindness.

I was referred to Dr Kelly for primary care during my chemotherapy. She is rude, obnoxious, and could not care less about the welfare of her patients. Her attitude was how dare I bother her with ancillary physical problems due to chemo. In addition to her tragic interpersonal skills, she is an inept physician. She prescribed me a drug that gave me violent nausea. When I tried to reach Dr. Kelly’s office I was informed she only works part-time - too busy attending to her personal marathon running, her privileged kids, or whatever schedule. I was circulated to various nurses for 3 days. When I did finally get hold of Kelly, she was unapologetic and did not relieve my symptoms. Then I received a certified letter from her office dropping me as a patient once my insurance paid the bill. Nasty person, even worst physician. Avoid at all costs.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Kelley at 12pm and as I was waiting I saw her leave. I asked the lady at the front desk who I was seeing and she said they would be with me in a minute. 45 minutes went by and I asked again. finally I was brought back at 1247pm, The NP, Mary said I look frustrated and I told her I was not notified I was not seeing Dr. Kelly for my annual physical and you are late. She informed me she was not late. She did not apologize. She was not prepared.

What an awful person, doctor, staff. Dr. Kelly is wound up tight and nervous, in and out in 10 minutes, stares at her computer the whole time typing notes, yet never seems to remember a thing about you at the next visit. She never seems to make a medical decision and for every question you have she just recommends a specialist. Your visits will be submitted to insurance incorrectly so you get large unpaid bills. She will never speak to you on follow up, you get stuck with a rude med assistant.

I was very happy with Dr. Kelly as my primary physician, and was her patient for around 10 years. I found her attentive and knowledgeable. 2 years ago, my health insurance changed to one that she did not accept, but I continued to see her as a cash patient. I received a negotiated rate and always paid in advance. Then I was contacted by her collection agency for the negotiated portion of my bill! Like $30. Now she has terminated me as a patient?? What a horrible way to be treated.

I have been going to Dr. Kelly for many years. The office always runs really late, even when you schedule the very first morning appointments, you will not be seen at your scheduled time. There is one day a week that the office is FULL of loud, chatty pharmaceutical reps who don't care how much gossip and BS you have to listen to while sharing the waiting room. The staff treat you as if your presence is annoying. The doctors type into the computer vs talking to you face to face. Done. Moving on.

She seemed to care less about my symptoms and spent no time with me at all. I tried to call her after my test results came in and I could only get to her PA for answers (which was not helpful at all). I was left hanging. She referred me to 4 other places that I didn't need to go. She's very quick to write a prescription vs. spending time understanding what's going on and how to treat. I would NOT recommend her. I'm switching doctors.

I have also been with Dr. Kelly ever since Dr.Barnes left (who was wonderful by the way). I agree with all the other reviews. She always seems like she is in a rush. She’s more concerned about what goes into her computer. The last straw was my last pelvic exam. Do not let this women practice obstetrics!! I am not exaggerating when I say I felt assaulted. She was rough, didn’t check in to see if I was ok, and it was the most painful exam I’ve ever had. I hope she takes time to read these reviews.

My last couple of visits with Dr. Kelly have been unsatisfactory. She seems detached and just sits with her legs crossed and asks questions..then writes a referral. I thought she was thorough but now it seems that she is just pushing me off to other areas or else just racking up the fees for Piedmont. Looking for a new doctor, thinking of leaving Piedmont altogether.

Went to see Dr. Kelly as she was recommended by a Facebook group. Test results from my physical were never communicated and I felt pushed to go to her providers. She did not take time to answer questions and was generally uncomfortable to be around. As others previously stated, she dresses unlike any doctor I have ever visited - not that dress would be an issue if she expressed a kind or caring manner. It just added to the uncomfortable nature of my entire experience at her office.

Terrible FIRST experience! I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Kelly the next day and now I know why. She has terrible bedside manner. I did not feel heard at all. She did not ask me questions or listen to my concerns. I left feeling worse then when I came in. This is NOT right.

After being a patient of Dr Kelly's for a number of years, this appointment was very disappointing. She didn't take the time to listen to what I had to say. While I went in to get a prescription that I had been taking for years, so prescribed something else. On my way back to work the pharmacy called to say that wasn't covered by my insurance. So I emailed the office to let them know and they replied back that I should see another doctor for this issue. $110 wasted
