If I could leave zero rating I would. Awful person
Talked over me for an entire conversation. Scolded me over and over for not being consistent with appointments when I explained that I was trying to keep them consistent but had no appointment reminders. Treated me like dirt but treated my husband fine. Knows absolutely nothing about my son and even said “No, I am not his therapist. I just prescribe his medicine.” We have only tried three different types of medicine to help my son. I have NEVER had this much of a problem keeping appointments or anything. I am looking to switch to a local physician to prescribe medicine for him and hopefully get something that works. It is absolutely not acceptable to treat patients or family of patients the way I was treated. As I was trying to explain that “It doesn’t seem to be mine or your fault, it seems reception/communication/organization problems he yelled, yes yelled, “No! It is your fault!” I absolutely did not deserve to be treated so poorly.

Doctor Smith
Dr Dean Smith has been treating our son for 14 years. He is kind, caring, professional, and goes the extra mile to research medications and help our son with his depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health issues. He is one out of many psychiatrists that listen and really care. We would highly recommend him for pediatric and adult mental health issues.
