Life Saver
In April 2022 Dr. Dmello implanted 5 Zephy Valves in my right lung. Everything went very well and the last piece of advice he gave me was to not be afraid to push myself. I have severe COPD and I was not enjoying life. This is June, 2022, and I am now walking more than 5 miles everyday. He gave my life back to me. Thank you so very much Dr. Dmello. You are a Champion.

He went above and beyond to care for my father. He performed a very risky procedure on his lung that no other Provider would dare touch! He did amazing both times he operated on my very sick and fragile father. He's very compassionate about his work and his patients. He is very calm and great at explaining things to his patience and the family. I hope I never have to need any of this type of care however, If I do this is who I would use hands down. Thank you Dr.Demello for everything you did for my father and his family.

He started weaning me off a medication and when I started having trouble breathing he wouldn’t listen to a thing I said and kept telling me it was withdrawal from the medication. Turns out it wasn’t with drawl, not being able to breathe is not a symptom of withdrawal with the medication. I got worse and worse and it felt like I was drowning constantly. I didn’t get any help till I got to a take care clinic. Decided to look for a new pulmonologist but I didn’t have enough medication to survive till the appointment and Doctor Dmello refused to refill my prescription until I could make it to my new pulmonologist.

Even though my condition had Dr. Dmello scratching his head he did not give up until he found the cause of my low oxygen. I am grateful to have been referred to him. I was getting really tired of being miss diagnosed when I knew the other doctors were wrong.
