Dr seemed distracted and seemed to make up her mind about my treatment after just 1 minute.

Dr. Sparks was amazing to talk to about my pain. She really is interested in what you have to say in reference to your pain. She really cares. I have never felt more listened to by another doctor before. Highly recommend her and her services.

Doctor Sparks never gave me any options but a battery implant. I have tingling and don't heal well and really my gut tells me that I would absolutely not want that surgery. I had internal hardware once from a car accident and I had to have a special surgery to have it taken out. In my life unfortunately I have taken to many antibiotics. Dr Sparks didn't believe me even with my medical history in front of her. I have no reason to fabricate. Maybe she just didn't like me. When she ordered an MRI it was for the wrong part of my back. She sent a certified letter saying she would only treat me for the next 30 days if there was an emergency. It was really odd because I couldn't get a call back for the 2 months I tried to make an appointment. She never treated me. Only discussed this implant and ordered tests. She was mean and discouraging to me.

I saw D Sparks 3 times. But I came to understand she uses the same template for every person wanting to sell a particular device. Basically it’s quid pro quo liability medicine with a wave machine. I asked what she she knows about thoracic spine pain because most people have lower back pain. She said the entire spine is the same and pushed for the third time an expensive implant that wouldn’t work for me. She doesn’t listen, only wanted to sell herself and this expensive device that only works part of the time. Can slip, get infected, and needs care itself. Saying she is the only surgeon on the planet who tests first to make sure it will actually work totally and completely. I did everything she asked of me. More MRI's, got a therapist, urine testing, an internist, more X-rays.. She recommended tele-doctors telling me they won't say no. I would have done make-up which she offers evidently as a pain remedy anything gentle.

Treated me like an addict, ruined my reputation w/ my primary doc, now no one treats me seriously when my pinched nerve pain (MRI Proven), is flaring up again. I won’t go to her again unless it’s my last hope. I won’t recommend anyone to go to her, considering that her treatments (different types of shots to affected areas) are no different than pain meds which are also a temporary cover up to the real problem. Change the way you treat patients, know that what you say can ruin them permanently.
