Dr. Dawn Goldstein, MD

I am so glad I found Dr. Goldstein. I started seeing her a few months ago and I feel like she is the first Doctor who truly cares about me. She took the time to sit down ask me questions before anything. I am in the throws of menopause and she has guided me through this like a friend. Her sense of humor is refreshing and I like the way she explains things that are happening without trying to sound like a blowhard.

Dr. Goldstein FAILED to inform me that I had breast cancer. I got results from the doctor who performed my biopsy. It took one week until Goldste called me, and that is only after my husband called her office, telling them off asking why no call. HOW DO YOU NOT TELL YOUR PATIENT SHE HAS BREAST CANCER!? She called me that night with all these lame excuses. I pulled all my records. I ended up having invasive Stage 1A breast cancer. NEVER GO TO HER! Thank God I am ok and cancer free after treatment

Dr. Goldstein is a friendly doctor however she is not very dependable when it comes to being available when you make appointments. If I had not called to confirm my appointments I would have never known some of the appointments were cancelled. When she suddenly did not have a practice anymore, I only found out due to the fact that my annual physical was due.

I've had a couple annual visits with Dr. Goldstein & I also wasn't really impressed with her mannerism either. I found my annual visits were impersonal & rushed. When I asked questions I was given short answers when I was beginning peri- menopause; I actually thought it was just me but now after reading all the poor reviews the picture is clear.

On my first visit Dr. Goldstein didn't both to ask anything about my history - instead she just started the exam after a nice to meet you. She didn't send in my lab tests, which required a second visit (to a new doctor). She ordered a mammogram with incorrect codes and it took several phone calls just to get an acknowledgement from the office. Overall very poorly organized and terrible bedside manner.

Arrived to her office for two out of three appointments to discover the doctor had cancelled and was not in the office that day, and not due to delivering babies or commitments to other patients. Dr. Goldstein always had a smile on her face, but clearly was impatient with specific questions, giving simplistic, glib answers to very nuanced and complicated medical issues. She also missed key information on my blood test. I would _NOT_ recommend her to anyone wanting careful, quality care.

I have never had a more unforgivabl experience with such an unprofessional doctor and staff. Inattentive, uncaring, and unapologetic for several cancellations (on the doctor's end), not getting my calls returned (no patient should ever have to call three times just to get some answers/an appointmen), and being given silly excuses for when things weren't right. Nearly every appointment was rushed and once I was even completely forgotten about for over 45 minutes while dr took another patient!

She was on time, very pleasant, very informative and her office staff was out-of-their-way nice. I had some concerns I wanted to talk to her about and she was attentive and pro-active. She does deliver babies so I do anticipate that my appointment could be cancelled.
