Absolutely would not see him again
I saw Dr. Wood 2 times after sinus issues persisted and my PCP referred me back to him after a year because of no improvement. He looked into my sinuses, told me I had no problems at all and said that I was “too sensitive”. After I refused to see Dr. Wood again months later, I was referred to Mass Eye and Ear in Boston. The first appointment they diagnosed and confirmed, a “sinus fungal ball” that I had suffered with for years. Surgery was needed and I can not recommend going to Boston enough..

I made an appointment for one problem. In the meantime I developed the flu and many other ent problems. I delayed the appointment until after the flu, but still had many other symptoms. Even though original appointment was for one thing, Dr. Woods was extremely compassionate and tackled each problem. He is my Hero !!

Brought my daughter to see him after repeated hearing test failures at school. He would give us the same line every visit. Lots of earwax and wet ears. He would prescribe drops and tell us to come back in a few months if problems continued. After doing this for 2 years with no improvement, I spoke with a coworker who had seen Dr Wood. He told me about his horrible experience with this doctor and I went to Boston. Large mass found on her ear drum that had been there for years, needed surgery

Visited Dr. Wood due to total loss of taste and smell. After checking my ears, nose and tongue he advised he didn't know what was causing it and had no offer of help or suggestion of where I might get it - just make an appointment for 3 or 4 months from now. Great! So I live with this and go back in several months? For what?

Waste of time seeing Dr.Wood with no results. Saw a good Otolarynagologist after several visits with Dr Wood with amazing results. No comparison in treatment.

The dr. is good; clearly competent. His office staff is horrible... CONSISTENTLY so. I have had to wait while the check-in lady was on the phone with her son. They seem disorganized, angered to be bothered and highly inefficient. Why does this matter? There are other competent docs who have figured out the the front-office experience is highly important to patient comfort, confidence and satisfaction.
