Great pediatric specialist
Dr. Walner helped us through a mycobacteria issue with our two year old. After months of antibiotics, he excised a mass on our two year old's neck. His bedside manner and obvious knowledge in his specialty made us feel confident in our child's care. We will always recommend Dr. Walner to friends and family.

THE BEST ENT Dr.
We feel fortunate to have had the professional health care of Dr. David Walner for 17 years when my son was born and we needed a specialist to perform a tracheotomy on our newborn baby. He has been a great guide for us in all these years and we thank God for his patience, professionalism, care and love for his patients. It is a blessing to have professionals who truly see their patients with devotion and not as just another number. Thank you for always taking the time to listen to your patients. God bless you and enlighten you in each day of surgeries and decisions in life. 100 % recommended Doctor, a doctor who makes a big difference in the world.

Excellent ENT doctor
I took my kid to see him due to a bad smell. He listened and did all the check up and also noticed he snores without me mentioning my concerns. He knew exactly what my son needed and gave me the support I needed.

Really attentive, patient, and informative
I’ve always really enjoyed our visits with Dr. Walner. We did not have to wait long at all, they were very informative, friendly, never felt rushed. We enjoyed the practice so much we switched to their office which is 30 minutes away to do audiology testing because I trust them so much and valued his feedback. Going to their practice for a hearing test meant we would be able to confer with the doctor right away about the results which is invaluable.

Doctor is great!
Dr. Walner is very knowledgeable and explains things well when we have a question or concern. He is thorough, and makes sure my child is getting the care he needs. However, the Hoffman estates clerical staff needs some help. I never got a confirmation call, which resulted in information missed that was needed for my appointment. When checking out, the lady seemed to not care about my needs, and almost charged me more than my copay because she never checked her notes or our information. Clerical staff was not helpful, and almost rude or short when checking in and checking out.

There may not be a warm disposition, hugs and cuddles! Lol! We are now in a pandemic so people are not looking for that anymore anyway! I love Dr. Walner. He was matter of fact and to the point! After he performed my son’s adenoidectomy, his support staff was amazing, (they are very personable and make kids feel comfortable). To my surprise, he called us between 9-9:30p that night to follow up on my son! I was highly impressed! In all my years I have Never had a doctor follow up after hours! Thank you Dr. Walner! Procedure went exactly as he explained and we are so happy with the outcome!

Both of my kids have gone to Dr. Walner for years. He is very patient and thorough and has taken issues seriously that I just knew were causing problems, but that other doctors had previously dismissed outright. He can tell what's going on immediately and is very thorough in explaining conditions, options, his recommendations, and what to expect. He is great at setting kids at ease before an exam or surgery. And, one thing I really appreciate is that he is very responsive to phone calls when we have had ear infections crop up on vacation. Dealing with the office staff isn't always my favorite experience. It's not always clear who you are talking to or even which office you are talking to, and some staff members are super great and helpful, while others are terse and unhelpful, so that part can be frustrating. But I do think it's gotten a little better in the past few years. And i wouldn't change doctors due to office staff. We are really happy and comfortable with Dr. Walner.

He is straight and to the point, he doesn’t explain in layman terms and talks very fast, but he knows what he is doing and a VERY good doctor. He doesn’t rush into invasive tests or procedures, he will work to get to root of issue and treat before going to bigger and better. Also, he mindful of costs and ways to help patient control out of pocket expenses. Which is nice. I will take needs improvement on bedside, for competency and solid sound medicine any day.
