What Happened??
Saw him in the ER at Legacy last night on Portland. He didn't really rush, however he didn't appear interested in what I had to say. Kept interrupting me, stood outside the door and listened in while I was talking to his 'scribe' then asked me the same things acting as if he knew nothing until the scribe said something. Then he kept telling me what was wrong before nay imaging was done and saying it HAD to be his diagnosis. After imaging, he came in and said it was what me and my sister had stated it likely was. THEN he discharged me with HIS original diagnosis in the papers not even mentioning what the imaging showed!! Also 'decided' on his own that I didn't need any pain meds even after knowing OTC meds didn't touch the pain of degenerative disk disease or bulging discs. Also, I overheard him be VERY disrespectful and RUDE AS HELL to another patient in the room across the hall. An elderly woman. I seriously think he's a sexist jerk who needs to retire already.

Just got home from meridian park hospital er. Dr. Toovy is the emergency doctor. He took care of me today. Really couldn’t ask for a finer doctor. Thorough. Would recommend him to anyone.
