He is the best!
Dr. Stuesse replaced my aortic valve with a cow valve on Valentine's Day (2-14-18) when I was 84. I have been going strong ever since and will be 89 in June 2023. I still go to the gym and use the weight machines and treadmill. My hospital stay was a pleasant one and everyone was very knowledgeable and kind. My recuperation was normal and I was up and going again in a very short time. I owe it all to my doctors: Dr. Duerr and Dr. Stuesse and all the nurses and helpers. THANK YOU ALL! Jan Van Pelt

Dr Stuesse conducted my mitral valve repair in December 2019. We met for the first time a few weeks earlier when he discussed the surgery. Up till I met him I was worried concerning what to expect during the process. However, he had a calming effect as he walked me through the procedure. My wife and I were convinced he was our guy. Moreover, his post-surgery follow-ups let me know I made the right choice. Also, his PA's checked on me daily, and this was much appreciated. I believe Dr Stuesse saved my life. I will always be in debt for what he did for me. St Lukes has a list of cardiologists capable of performing open-heart surgery, but Dr Stuesse is "my" guy. I know, I did my research. Thank you, Dr Stuesse!
