Dr Steiner is a good doctor but I would not recommend this practice. I wanted to follow up with Dr Steiner but the office staff said you can only see NP or PA. I wasn't happy with NP. They refused to put me with Dr Steiner.

Terrible experience
After waiting 2 hours to be seen by the doctor (yes, we had an appointment), he was continually preoccupied texting on his phone throughout the visit. I finally told him how unprofessional I found his office and bedside manner. He then tried to seem focused as he knew how angry I was, but he really just kept repeating the same ridiculous thoughts over and over. He never reviewed the information provided to him, he just complained to his staff about their performance right in front of us! . I have been in the medical field about 25 years and I have never witnessed such disregard for professionalism and lack of interest in a patient. Let’s just say it was perhaps the biggest waste of 3 hours of our lives! I recommend any other neurologist over this clown.

Very busy office. Dr. Steiner is a brilliant and outstanding diagnostician. He REALLY cares about his patients and gets to the bottom of their issues by dealing with sometimes overwhelming insurance constraints. Additionally, the office manager, Ramona, goes that extra mile to help patients with pressing issues. I will continue to be his patient.

I suffered a concussion over 2 years ago. I went to 3 neurologists and the NYU Concussion Center (all alleged NYC big wigs) before I found Dr. Steiner. He's done more for me in three weeks than all the specialists I have seen in over 2 years. He ran lots of tests and then had me evaluated for PT. His PT is excellent and someone is FINALLY targeting my neck and at least trying to do something about the terrible debilitating headaches I suffer from since the concussion instead of just prescribing medications that do nothing. (The NYC bunch had prescribed 19 medications in under 6 months and I still had ZERO relief, but lots of really bad reactions to the meds). His staff is friendly and very helpful. I'm glad I found Dr. Steiner!

The worst of the worst when it comes to Administration and even sending messages to the doctor is an issue, even as an emergency like now, I was recently seen by a doctor and he suggested I contact my pain management doctor to discuss my pain and discomfort. Doctor Steiner has been my dotor for over 10 years, i can simply say that he is a great Doctor but the people running the office are awful, like very poor, they dont have any symphaty for another or even try to understand the issue.

I guess most importantly, he is a competent and knowledgeable doctor. However.....! The wait time in the office is quite disrespectful to the patients. Further, he never DID follow up on several alternative treatments s that came to his mind, which he promised to get back to me on. Lastly, money: He is aggressively eager to overutilize every possible test that he could bill for, no matter how painful they are, all of which resulted in absolutely NO change whatsoever in my treatment regimen.

Its horrible and quite disgusting how Dr. Steiner along with the office is making me wait an entire month to get the results of my MRI of my brain along with other pertinent results. They said its a process whereas the technicians have to review the results then the doctor needs to do the same. After that the patient needs to come in in order for the doctor to discuss. This all takes 4 - 6 Weeks. I could be dead by then!!!!!!!

I've been using Dr. Steiner now for almost 2 years and his deep knowledge of all facets of medicine allows him to take very unique approaches to help work on my issues from not necessarily only the conventional methods. I regularly recommend Dr. Steiner to friends and family, and when I need something I can call his assistant Jackie (the BEST) or his PA and and they are on it ASAP.
