Excellent
I had a broken metacarpal on my ring finger and fractured another finger. Dr. Steinburg and the entire team were A’s. Grateful

Perhaps the condescending bedside manner could be excused if the diagnosis and treatment were accurate. The doctor dismissively gave a diagnosis and refused to do any other testing. Thankfully, I had the facilities to visit a doctor in New York in the Columbia medical program who did an ultrasound on the spot, ruled out Dr. Steinberg's diagnosis immediately, and was able to proceed with the proper treatment plan. This experience has been consistent across Penn medicine orthopedics, where it is evident that doctors value insurance reimbursements over patient care and administrators value marketing budgets over patient outcomes.

I saw Dr. Steinberg for carpal tunnel and he was excellent. He paid attention to what I was explaining and he actually seemed to care. He took care of the issue quickly. I would highly recommend! Best surgeon around.

I went to Dr. hoping to fix a problem that was the result of procedure I believe to have been unnecessary. He, personally, barely looked at or touched my hand & he obviously didn't bother to listen. He claims that I complained inordinately about nodes & that I said I never had a tear in my knee prior to having knee surgery. I never mentioned nodes nor did I say tear; I said pain. My concern was a swollen finger that was locking & a tendon that was protruding. I didn't return after 2nd time.
