Great doctor. Very professional. Easy to talk to and answers all questions efficiently and willing to spend time with you.

So I had decided to visit Dr. Shin to follow up with a concern I had. I did not know him, but I checked his credentials and read reviews which were highly favorable of him and set up an appointment. I have been seeing him regularly for over a year and I can happily say that those reviews I read are correct. Never once did he make me feel uncomfortable or like I had no control of my own treatment. My favorite part was that due to my soon to expire insurance coverage, he went out of his way to book me for surgery that I had requested so that I would still be covered by my insurance even though it was on a day he usually doesn't perform surgery on. Eventually COVID-19 hit and everything was canceled. Months later when hospitals opened and I was in the same predicament, he AGAIN went out of his way to schedule a surgery which could be covered in a narrow window of time even though it was inconvenient for him. After surgery I felt great and my problems went away. I recommend him highly.

Had to get a minor surgery, Dr. Shin had done a great job and I was able to recover faster than I expected. He took the time to understand not just about the procedure but was proactive in ensuring that I wouldn't be another statistic o the medical-industrial complex with great alternative treatment options. One of the most humble and caring doctors I've ever met.

My experience with Dr. Shin exceeded all my expectations. He was referred to me through another Doctor so I knew I'd likely be in good hands, as most only refer top physicians. Dr. Shin took the time to reassure me that a procedure I needed was straightforward, explaining everything in a calm, professional manner. I never felt rushed and he displayed empathy and true care for my concerns. The procedure went perfectly and I walked out of the surgical center in disbelief as to how good I felt and how smoothly everything went. I cannot stress how great my experience was in working with Dr. Shin and his staff. It is rare to find a Doctor who truly deserves 5 stars, but Dr Shin deserves 6!

Dr. Shin is simply an amazing doctor. He is personable, congenial and truly cares about your well-being. He does a tremendous job explaining rather complex medical conditions in easy to understand terms. Dr. Shin is also great about going around the system and making sure that you are able to get an appointment when he wants to see you. If you need to see a Urologist, Dr. Shin is the best!

Dr. Shin came highly recommended by my Cardiologist and I was told he's the best. Well I've been a patient for almost a year and never been disappointed, boy was my Cardiologist correct. Most busiest and thoroughly professional doctor. Best in the business. You might wait for a long time to meet him even for a quick session but very swift and fine tuned analysis. Safest hands for urology issues. I wish him well, he is the one who gave us the first hope towards our family planning.

I went to three other urologist before I found Dr David Shin and Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr Shin sat down and actually listened to me, and the reason I was there.
