I was uncertain going into my video conference w. Dr Schneider, but his professionalism has assured me I'm in good hands with his dedicated team.

I had shoulder replacement surgery with Dr. Schneider and his team at Pure Orthopedics and OrthoColorado Hospital. I am thrilled! The recovery is a fraction of what I had expected, due in part to having almost no pain and to being very well prepared by the clinical team. Dr. Schneider's commitment to innovation and his passion for patient care and teamwork were clearly evident. The staff from both Pure Orthopedics and the hospital were exceptional: this was the first time in years I felt I received real care. They were attentive and did what they promised. They took time to be sure I had what I needed, helping not only with information, but also with my gaining confidence I would be able to handle recovery and physical therapy. I was ready for and confident in the surgery and the team and two weeks later, I am just delighted at my progress. I would not hesitate to return if needed for any surgery by this team of caring pros.

Dr. Schneider is a wonderful doctor. I am a needy and young (for needing joint replacement) patient. Dr. Dave took the time to help me understand that getting the new shoulder was needed and most likely would help relieve my day-to-day arthritic pain. I had a fair amount of anxiety about having this surgery, and even concerns with allergic reactions to the implant ( I have a nickel allergy). I am now 6 month post-op. I have not had pain in my shoulder for over 3 months. I am thankful every day that the pain is gone, and quality of life (and sleep) has improved. Now, that said, this is not an easy recovery, imo. The first week post-op was rough, and weeks 2-3 were no picnic. Weeks 3-6 I saw steady improvement, worked hard at PT and stretching. By 6 my pain level was low enough to not treat. By week 8-10 the pain was gone. For me, most of normal activity resumed around 8-10 weeks. Although I was reluctant to get this surgery, I am so glad I did.

Dr. Schneider really took the time to explain the procedure to me. I feel really well informed.

This was a follow-up visit from my shoulder replacement surgery 3 years ago. He is very caring and shows concern for his patients. I feel as if I can tell him any of my concerns and he will address them. I would highly recommend Dr Schneider for a shoulder replacement surgery.

My visit with Dr. Schneider went very well. He explained everything pointing out all the areas on my elbow xray needing to be fixed. Appointment was not rushed, my questions were all answered. He was very professional and very kind.

It has been 2 years since my total reverse shoulder replacement. Dr Schneider was an awesome surgeon. He did a great job. Leaving minimal scarring. My range of motion is more than I could have asked for. Complete success of my shoulder. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Schneider. He has a great bedside manner. Takes time to listen to and answer questions. I have had great success with my shoulder recovery. I will be seeing him soon to do my other shoulder. I have no worry’s going in to this next surgery. I know he is the best doctor for the job! He is an artist when it comes to shoulder surgeries. He knows what he is doing and can be trusted !

I had a total shoulder replacement a few years back. I had a pretty bad motorcycle accident that totally destroyed the original replacement. My original Dr. in California was beside himself because he couldn't do anything to help me. He contacted Dr. Schneider who in turn contacted me via phone call. A few weeks later I was on a plane to CO. The surgery went absolutely perfect. He accomplished a reverse arthroplasty of my RH shoulder. This is the second replacement. The new replacement works better than EVER before. Had it not been for Dr. Schneider the use of my arm would be extremely limited possibly causing me to lose my job to permanent disability. Would I recommend Dr. Schneider? ABSOLUTELY without out a doubt or reservation.

Dr . Schneider is top notch! I’ve known him since 2006 and he’s performed 2 surgeries on me with 100% success. His bedside manner is wonderful. He’s extremely thorough, takes his time and really listens to you. I always walk out knowing we’ve got a good plan of care. He’s funny too, I might add;) Highly, highly recommend Dr. Schneider.

I am a competitive triathlete who needed a complete shoulder replacement but wanted to race the same year. Dr. Schneider made it happen! From the moment I met him, I felt completely comfortable and confident that he would get me back out there. He answered all my questions, is extremely kind and made me relaxed through the whole process. Even made me laugh on surgery day which was wonderful! I couldn’t recommend Dr. Schneider more - he’s THE BEST! My shoulder joint has no pain - thank you Dr. Schneider!!

I am happy to share my positive experience with Dr. Schneider, who performed shoulder reconstruction on me after a skiing accident. Dr. Schneider performed a partial shoulder replacement on my right shoulder, also called shoulder hemiarthroplasty, in October, 2021. My shoulder was very painful, and motion was limited. I was definitely not happy with the result. I still have pain in my shoulder and motion is even more limited than it was before. I had hoped I could reach above my head, but I can't even reach to set the thermostat or flip a light switch. It is difficult to turn the steering wheel in the car. He was very friendly and explained the procedure well--my high expectations for the outcome were dashed. My other shoulder has become even more painful and motion is becoming limited, but I have decided not to have shoulder replacement surgery, especially with Dr. Schneider. I am instead going to go a pain management doctor, as recommended by my rheumatologist.

I knew when Dr Schneider operated on my shoulder, he did a good job, because I was off the meds in two and a half days. Never had to go through rehab before and don’t want to do it again, but after a half a year, I’m back at it. Feeling good. Thank you !
