This physician's behavior is highly concerning. He consistently disregards his patients' input and exhibits rude and dismissive behavior. His treatment of my grandmother was particularly alarming; he failed to review her medical history, including known allergies, and repeatedly prescribed a medication she had informed him multiple times she was allergic to. Such negligence is unacceptable and dangerous.

When I have asked specific questions, he just puts me off, & to get the real answers I have to order copies of my test results. He missed my congestive heart failure, or if he knew about it, no one told me. He affects a genial personality, but his actions are negative to patient information & health care. He messed up my prescription, & passed off my critical care to a non-physician. Will not return. I need someone who cares, communicates well & has not been out of school so long.

I have been Dr. Sawyer’s patient since July 2020. He has been outstanding and very attentive in addressing my issues. He is very understanding, compassionate, and extremely professional. Dr. Sawyer takes all the time necessary to listen to my questions and addresses all of my concerns. His assistant, Shannon, is amazing! She responds to calls in an extremely timely manner, with genuine concern.

Doctor Sawyer is great, but getting an appointment is difficult. I called 4 times and the wait on hold is 10 minutes or more. I left my number for a recall, never received one. I received a text confirming the appt, said no to cancel the appointment, received a phone message to call, waited on hold 10 minutes, to confirm. For the 3rd time that I needed to cancel. I suggested that they needed more people to take appointments.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Sawyer yesterday, and I was SO pleased and impressed! He asked me questions and actually listened to my answers. He clearly explained to me the meaning of some previous blood work and let me ask questions. And then, after gathering the information, he discussed what cardiac testing he recommended and why. I never felt rushed and feel completely comfortable in his care.

I was inspired to go into medicine because of my grandfather's unfulfilled dream. He was a pre-med major in college and planned to be a physician but didn't have the means to go to medical school. I'm not just living my dream; I'm living his, too....read more
