Dr. Stavin graduated twice from UCLA with HONORS
I recently had bicep tendon reattached to bone. On my part I couldn get in to see Dr. Stavin until bout 6 weeks after my injury causing the possible need for extra work of a graft as well. I woke up after surgery to find out he was able to fetch my bicep tendon and reattach. From day one and my first minute in Dr. Stavin s office I noticed his two degrees from UCLA. ...Got goosebumps when also noticing not only had graduated but graduated with HONORS....immediately felt at ease from my over the top nervousness and panic. The initial appointment setting was quick and the staff very very helpful. Dr. Stavin was very professional and understanding. Got called the next day of an opening in the schedule, same day in for quick EKG heart test and blood work for surgery the following day. From the check in staff to the prep nurse too the surgery nurse(shaka hawaii) to the Dr.s assistant and an extra shout out to the anesthesiologist!! he ain't no joke. Couldn't recommend enough.. OUTSTANDING

Exactly what you want in a surgeon
Brought my MIL to Savin for a shoulder replacement. Couldn't have been better. This is where you want to be if you're considering a shoulder replacement, or any time of shoulder injury.

For shoulder surgery, Dr. Savin is simply the best
I am six weeks post-op from a rotator cuff and bicep tenodesis surgery with a fantastic positive recovery. I received excellent care from Doctor Savin and his team. Everything from office visits, pre-surgery tests, obtaining the ice machine and abductor sling, and arranging physical therapy we're done efficiently and punctually. The doctor is intelligent, diligent, and skillful.

Dr. Savin is an outstanding surgeon
Everything about Dr. Savin and his staff is fantastic. Dr. Savin explains everything to the patient prior to surgery - both the good and any possible issues that may occur. He is knowledgeable, personable, professional in every way and again, an outstanding surgeon. I have had two surgeries by Dr. Savin, both with incredibly fast recuperations because he knows what he's doing and I highly recommend him.

So far so good. Dr. Savin did my shoulder replacement three days ago and my pain has been minimal and I’m excited and ready to start PT. The staff at Eisenhower was absolutely amazing and made my very first surgery (at 66 years old) way less intimidating. I can’t imagine having had a better experience. Thank you all so much.

I went to see Dr. Savin for tennis elbow injury and his attention and care were exceptional. Three months after surgery you could barely notice a scar on my incision and he had me back at the gym 100%. Cannot recommend him enough.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Savin, Matthew Bartie and the staff in their office. Just over three months ago I had surgery to repair my torn rotator cuff and detached bicep tendon by Dr Savin. I am already basically back to normal function and have been released from PT.

Dr Savin rocks. I tore my rotator cuff in 3 places and couldn't have it fixed for 4 months. Six months later I am completely healed and back to normal. I highly recommend him. He also spent extra time talking about my home town of Chicago!

Dr. David Savin, M.D. - Orthopedics- subspecialty in Elbow and Shoulder/Upper arm. Dr. Savin did my reverse shoulder surgery almost 3 years ago. His skill set is exceptional, and he’s a brilliant physician. Post op I had no pain resulting in no pain management. I was able to do all my PT therapies at home, because I was able to follow his easy to understand directions. He monitored my progress throughout and measured my strength and ROM. If I would have failed to meet his post care requirements, he advised me I would need to have therapies by PT’s. I exceeded his goals at every follow up visit. Dr Savin was trained by the very best shoulder physician at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. The big bonus is that Doctor Savin very personable and truly does care about your understanding, progress, and outcome.

DR SAVIN COMPLETED REVERSE SHOULDER SURGERY ON MY RIGHT SIDE IN FEBRUARY. PRIOR TO SURGERY I COULD NO LONGER PLAY GOLF OR DO ANYTHING MUCH AROUND THE HOUSE. MY PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING BUT VERY SOON AFTER MY SURGERY, WITHOUT THE HELP OF PAIN MEDS, I WAS COMPLETELY PAIN FREE AND NOW SIX MONTHS LATER I AM BACK TO PLAYING GOLF AND FEEL AS GOOD AS I DID WHEN I WAS 20 (I AM NOW 73) THANKS TO DR SAVIN WHO HAS BEEN FANTASTIC FROM THE START ! HE HAS A GREAT TEAM AROUND HIM AND I AM SO GRATEFUL AND HAPPY THAT I FOUND HIM! IT IS CLEAR TO ME THAT HE IS TECHNICALLY VERY SOUND, IS THOROUGH, DETAILED AND TASK ORIENTED AND HE ALSO GENUINELY CARES ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME FOR HIS PATIENTS. I WOULD GO BACK TO HIM IN A HEARTBEAT AND PROBABLY WILL IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO HAVE THE SAME PROCEDURE FOR MY OTHER SHOULDER. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. EVERY ASPECT OF MY NEED FOR CARE WAS MET AND THEN SOME! MEGA THANKS TO DR SAVIN AND HIS WONDERFUL TEAM!

The top of my humerus bone was necrose (dead and rotting) due to a fall and previous mis-diagnosis from another orthopedic center. That is when I contacted Eisenhower Orthopedic center. They connected me with Dr Savin who got me in for surgery very quickly. He is very professional and friendly at the same time. The surgery went very well and I have excellent range of motion now. Thank you Dr. Savin and Eisenhower Orthopedics

I need anyone looking for an ortho doc specializing in elbows and shoulders, to look no farther! Dr. Savin is by far the best doctor I have ever been seen by. Not only is he willing to spend as much time with you as you need to understand your injury, but he is of the mindset to treat you with the least amount trauma to correct the issues. His entire staff is also like minded. He is incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate.

Excellent! Dr Savin is an exceptional doctor who cares about his patients immensely, their projected outcome from treatment and/or surgery. His attitude towards your health shows through all of his direct staff as well. They all genuinely care! I had been dealing with long term issues in my left shoulder and when it became time for a shoulder replacement I was honored to be under his team’s care before, during and after. I am currently postop a little over a week and I feel good! I have had minimal pain and swelling. I attribute this the excellent care and appropriate Pre-op planning with Dr Savin and his team. Grateful is how I feel.
