Hip hip hooray
Unfortunate that my genetics gave me hip dysplasia and both hips had to be replaced at 51 years old, but Dr Savage was a true blessing! I’m in awe of the Stryker robotic procedure that Dr Savage performed perfectly for results beyond my expectations. Dr Savage personally checked on me post-op, and it is evident that he is admired by the hospital nursing staff due to his heightened attention of care for his patients, Considering I had two surgeries 9 weeks apart, I can’t thank Dr Savage enough for his skillful approach giving me my active life back!

Dr David Savage is a wonderful doctor and surgeon
Dr Savages is an amazing doctor and surgeon! I had knee replacement surgery with Dr Savage recently. Prior to the surgery, he explained everything clearly and patiently. I never felt rushed or confused. I went into the surgery with a clear understanding of the process. I feel the surgery went extremely well with minimal pain or discomfort. At the post op appointment, I again felt at peace with his assessment of my progress. Additionally, Dr Savages is warm, kind and funny. I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor!

Broken humurious.
Dr. Savage did a knee replacement in 2015 and was very good. He saw me recently for fractures around my rotator cuff. Let me decide to heal on my own rather than surgery. He is nice and personal and a very good doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help.

I saw Dr. Savage concerning my arthritic hip.
I was pleasantly surprised how delightful Dr. Savage was since I had read in one of the reviews that he supposedly had a poor bedside manner. I found the opposite to be true. He was very knowledgeable about my condition, having reviewed my notes before he saw me. He spent plenty of time explaining options to me before I am ready for a hip replacement. He did not seem in a hurry to rush through the appointment. Someone mentioned he was rude to their grandmother. Well, I am a grandmother many times over, having seen numerous doctors throughout the years, and Dr. Savage is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. From other reviews I've read, he is very competent so I feel I will be in good hands whenever I do need that hip replacement. In the meantime, he has made me feel very optimistic about alternatives. He explained everything very clearly to me and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Savage listen to my complaints about my hip. He did one of the best thing a doctor can do. He ordered a mri to make certain about his diagnosis. Additionally, he has good bedside manner.

Dr. Savage
After X-Rays/MRI’s done on both knees, Dr. Savage talked to me about how my knees are. They were not in good shape, so after doing injections for awhile and after Dr.Savage explained my options we decided to do knee replacement on both knees. It has taken 2years to recover and I’m doing so much better it’s amazing. I can’t thank Dr.Savage enough.

Incredibly Condescending...
I booked w Dr Savage for an outside opinion re:a knee repl. which has been perpetually swollen, popping & very painful since my surgery 2yrs ago w no insight from the original ortho. Dr Savage ordered imaging AFTER extensively, condescendingly mansplaining to me that a knee replacement is never going to be as good as the original knee, blah blah, as if I had no clue. I reiterated re:having a VERY high pain tolerance, obvious swelling, audible popping w even the slightest movement & the moderate-severe pain I'm constantly in. Upon my 2nd visit to review the imaging, the entire visit was again chock full of condescending mansplaining despite admitting he had no idea what could possibly cause the large effusion seen in the imaging as the labs didn't show any signs of infection, again mansplained that a knee repl. is never as good as a real knee while looking at imaging showing a significant concern. He then pulled fluid from my knee & referred me out to his golf buddy for a 3rd opinion...

Dr. Savage is AMAZING ??. He did right hip replacement & i no longer had that horrific pain after surgery. Just had temporary pain from the surgery. Went through physical therapy through his office & recovered. I started walking normal again. Dr. Savage is a Godsend & has not only taken excellent care of me but other family members as well. ??

Dr. Savage is very conservative with his treatment plans for patients. I have been his patient for 10 years now and he has always been very clear on my condition and what I can expect. He's helped me postpone TKR for years with the treatments he's prescribed. Fast forward 10 years from my first meeting and I would not trust anyone else to perform my TKR. Reading some of the reviews I feel as though people have unrealistic expectations and perceptions about doctors. No person on this earth is in a good mood every day. No doctor has a magic wand that will make your troubles disappear overnight. Electronic medical records make your history visible to doctors and pharmacists. If you're looking for a quick fix, see another doctor. If you're chasing pain meds, see another doctor. If you want to have an endless stream of medical bills, see another doctor. If you want quality healthcare by an experienced and ethical doctor and no nonsense then Dr. Savage is the doctor you sh

Dr David Savage performed a right total hip replacement on me on May 7, 2020. By the 10th (three days later) I was walking without any assistive devices and only experiencing mild discomfort from time to time. Dr Savage prepared me preoperatively for what to expect postoperatively. By two weeks post op, I was driving and walking independently. Dr Savage’s pain management was excellent. He wanted me walking, doing my exercises from PT, and keeping my dressing clean and dry except for showers, where I would just pat my dressing dry. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel that Dr Savage was my surgeon. He knows joint replacements and consistently educates himself on improvements in technique and equipment. I am totally satisfied!
