Did nothing to help with my symptoms
I met with Dr. Sachar one time. We talked. No physical exam. No advice or Px to help me deal with my symptoms. He said he would call after an x-ray. He didn't. He said I might need an endoscopy. Weeks later, I received a message of another scheduled appointment with him. Appointment for what? I'm frustrated with ATRIUM - they will not let me choose another GI specialist because I already have a doctor. A doctor I met with one time. A doctor I didn't choose. Yes. He is easy to get an appointment with. But don't!

Nice staff & doctor
Had my colonoscopy & the staff was very nice & explained the procedure to me. Met Dr Sachar & he introduced himself & let me know I was in good hands. After the procedure he came & checked on me which I thought was very professional.

My PCP referred me to this physician. I don't recall ever meeting him, but I have met with his PA and NP both of which have declined to hear what my issues are. I have been experiencing fecal incontinence, nausea, stomach pain and bloating. From defecating on myself uncontrollably since an un-needed colonoscopy, my employer requested me to ask my doctor for FMLA to avoid termination (I've been sent home because of my symptoms on several occasions). The NP referred my back to my PCP who says they can't complete documents for something they aren't treating me for. The NP and PA aren't able to complete the paperwork and the doctor I've never met or had a conversation with is left to determine my fate with my employer. It's been almost 2 months and nothing has been done. I don't believe this doctor cares about the patients. He hasn't even made an attempt to help in determining what is causing my symptoms nor has he completed my forms to prevent me from losing my job. Horrible Experience.

Horrible experience, despite primary's referral to schedule a colonoscopy, they looked at my chart & decided upon themselves that i was too young for this procedure, so they never called me. Upon my f/u i was able to get an appt. 2 months later. Procedure was fine & they were quick to get me in/out but wanted to make sure that the visit billed as a preventative since my dad passed away of colon caner. They didn't & now I'm stuck w/over $1300 bill for something that is 100% covered insurance.

Dr Sachar is very personable and explained everything to my satisfaction. He answered all of my questions in a clear and concise manner. The procedure went very well. The staff in his office was professional and the staff at the surgery center were very pleasant and explained everything they were going to do. I am totally satisfied.

The people at the front desk when you enter the office have always been rude. I always have to wait in line to even to to the front desk. It's never a pleasant experience to encounter rude workers in a doctor's office, especially when you are in pain and having a lot of health problems. The doctor and his nurse are not rude. The nurse is friendly, but the doctor does not seem interested in my condition or seem like he cares about helping me get better. My condition has not improved.
