Dr. Rothberg and Staff were always top notch. Then in late 2019 things began to go downhill. He left practice early in 2020 without informing any patients. We had difficulty getting records. A disappointing end to 15 years of excellent service.

An appointment was scheduled for me to see Dr Rothberg relatively quickly. The wait time during my visit was minimal. The staff are friendly and professional. They took thorough tests and explained each step. Dr Rothberg was knowledgeable, professional, and took his time with me. And they’re in my insurance network. What more could you ask for! I’ll be a patient for life. Robert R. in Oldsmar, FL.

Horrible experience. I had cataract surgery by him on both eyes. There were red flags from the beginning. After 1st surgery I called him about significant in my eye. He was annoyed that I called. After 2nd surgery I discovered by his nurse that he had torn my retina. I have had to have 3 additional surgeries to repair the damage he did. 2 of those surgeries were emergency procedures. Do your homework. BTW his bedside manner is horrible!!

I saw this Dr. when I lived in Fla. (circa 2014). I had the feeling that something was "in my eye" and it was driving my crazy..... Dr. Rothberg seemed to think it was an "infection" (how do you not know this if you are a "Dr.")???? They told me I need an antibiotic drop, costing $165.00!!! I bought it because I felt I HAD to ( to no relief from my symptoms). I relocated to my hometown shortly thereafter (LA), went to see my former eye Dr. and he said "dry eye". OTC eyedrops. Problem solved!!

Was instantly dismissive of my chronic recurrent corneal abrasions, even during an episode. He told me to walk it off. I ended up needing a cornea transplant and cataracts surgery after numerous recurrences. I've made sure everyone I know steers clear of this jerk.

Excellent experience! The staff was able to get me in right away. I was surprised at how quickly I was called back. The time spent with Dr. Rothberg was well worth it, as I understood everything that was going on and was very comfortable. I was very worried prior to my appointment, but now feel much more relaxed after my appointment. I have found my new eye doctor.
