Great Surgeon
Family history of stones. Had two previous by other members of the staff, but after sitting uncomfortable for over five years, he said lets go get them all, and he did. Has chosen the path that we was meant for. No stents, no discomforts, and my five year, growing stones curse is now over...

Don’t waste your time
Repeatedly orders expensive and invasive procedures, but will not explain why or discuss results. Extremely rushed & rude.

Awesome Doctor
Overall he is straight forward and takes care of you. He has a sense of humor which is great. Of course some people don't and it's not his fault they mistake that. Sometimes there are miscommunications between him and nurses but he has many patients. Will continue to see him , Dr. Medley and others at that office.

Dr Rosenbaum and his team have taken care of me for many years and I’ve had many lithotripsy procedures performed by him and 2 other drs from their practice. They are extremely professional, quick to get my issues solved, and very personable. I’m very thankful to have been referred to his practice!

I had a very similar experience as previous reviewer. Dr. Rosen Baum was very rude and unprofessional. When discussing cancer prognosis, Dr said relative was not quite an old dog you take to the woods and shoot - but close. When discussing treatment options, Dr. suggested non aggressive approach as he would likely be dead of stroke or heart attack in he next two years anyway. When I told him I felt that he was being very harsh and insensitive, he verbally attacked me. I cannot believe First Urology tolerates this behavior. I do understand the basic concept of what Dr . R. Was trying to communicate, but this verbiage is atrocious and unprofessional . There are plenty of wonderful doctors in their company (Roa and Medley to name a few). Rosenbaum feeds his ego by demeaning others. Avoid at all cost

I visited Dr. Rosenbaum today 1/22/2021 and he was extremely rude to me. First, they took a urine sample. Then the DR. came in and inserted a catheter in me. he got upset because there was no urine left, he removed it and told me there was nothing wrong with me and to go home. Several times a day, I cannot urinate and I asked him how could he know without seeing inside me. I am a hosparus palliative care patient and he said "you have an untreatable illness, so what do you want me to do? I had had a cat scan a few weeks ago and I asked him if he could access that test and he said yes but made no attempt to do that . He was very nasty and impatient with me. I asked about a scope and he agreed to that but said he would not do it because he didn't like the way I talked to him. He stormed out of the room and told the nurse to schedule the scope with another doctor. I have never had a doctor act that way in my life. I would not recommend him to anyone.
