Dr.Rion did a great job on my hip and his team was very good at their job from the beginning to the end. I'm healing very good. I never got my handicap card. Thanks for doing a great job.

I suffered with chronic hip bursitis for 8 yrs before finally ending up on his exam table. I had failed all conservative measures long before I found him. He offered me a surgical procedure. NO ONE in 8 yrs had ever mentioned it. I eagerly accepted. On Oct 11, he did a left trochanteric bursectomy and IT Band release. The procedure started at 730am and I was on my way home around 930am. I walked into the house 1 hr later, upright with a bounce in my step I’d not had in yrs! I took 1/2 of a pain pill, slept for 6hrs, and woke up PAINFREE for the first time in 8 yrs! I had 2 wks of PT, now I’m busy catching up on stuff I’ve missed for 8 yrs! Do I recommend Dr Rion? ABSOLUTELY!!

In the beginning of my care with Dr. Rion, I liked him. He asked questions and was thorough. After my mri, I was told I needed surgery but was refused because of my weight. He said he could give me a shot and to come back in three months, after I lost some weight. I thought dr.s were supposed to help people. I have been in a tremendous amount of pain for a year. This has affected my quality of life. He was going to let me suffer through this. I am being punished because of my weight. It is disrespectful and unprofessional. I will seek a second opinion. Think about this if you are overweight before going to him.

I've seen Dr Rion for several years now, and have recommended him repeatedly. I have bum knees (arthritis, torn ACL and meniscus) that he's done everything possible to help me put off replacement as long as possible. He explains things very thoroughly but in an easy way for me to understand, and when a PA messed up my steroid shot, he took over and takes the time to do them himself every time now so they're done properly. He seems a little gruff, but not mean or condescending at all, just to the point. If you read his bio, he's a military kid, and it shows. He has personally fought for me with insurance too. And I love his assistant, she's friendly and personable. I don't feel like I'm just patient number 54321 to them.

Dr Rion was the fourth surgeon I talked to and the only one that took time to answer all of my questions. He did my full knee replacement on my left knee and his attention to detail and the well being of his patient is above reproach

I sought out a second opinion with Dr. Rion after dealing with a different ortho dr. that put me through an unnecessary surgery 2 years previously. Dr. Rion told me up front I needed a total knee replacement but he was willing to do everything he could BEFORE doing the surgery. He was great & we tried just about everything for a year to help me. I finally decided the pain was too much & had TKR in May 2019. Dr. Rion & his entire team took excellent care of me! My recovery has been great, his surgery method is cutting edge! My scar is the smallest scar I’ve ever seen for a TKR. I know my left knee also needs to be replaced as well & I will certainly have no question about having Dr. Rion take care of me when it’s time.

My name is George Kahdy. I have practiced veterinary medicine and surgery for 45 years. I also teach martial arts as a hobby. A year ago I found that I needed a shoulder joint replacement. I thought my vocation and avocation were over. I visited Dr Rion because of frustrations with other surgeons. He was friendly, to the point, and confident. I had the sense that he was most capable and caring. I also found that if I listened to his instructions I would be fine. He performed my surgery last July and after rehab today I am back to work and working out. As long as you listen to him you should have great results. If you don’t think you can follow his instructions he probably want do your surgery. I highly recommend this surgeon.

I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of your pre-OP steps and post-OP results of my total knee replacement! As a 57 y/o teacher, I put off surgery as long as I could until I felt as if I had no other option ( I was very pleased with the 4 years I received Euflexxa shots at OSNC). The surgery went well, Pivot dressing was impressive, very little swelling and very manageable pain. PT progress was quick and I returned to work at school quickly. Thank you again. PW

Dr. Rion in my opinion is a top rate surgeon. He performed total knee replacement on me and I couldn't be happier with the results. He uses cutting edge technology which seemed to speed up my recovery time, including a waterproof bandage which alows showering right away. I definitely will have him perform surgery on the other knee when the time comes.
