Best orthopedic hand surgeon in the capital dist
Dr Quinn is by far the best orthopedic hand surgeon in the capital district. He listens and explains things clearly. I trust him and had positive results from his treatment.

Bad Outcome
Dr. Quinn operated on my right thumb. after I hyper extended it, the previous year. A tendon graft from my Wrist, to my lower Thumb joint, was performed. Since the procedure 9 months ago, the Thumb clicks when I move it, and two of my fingers have bent forward. My four fingers, and my wrist, has become very weak, and painful, after the procedure. My pain level is worse than before the surgery. I made a follow up visit, to Dr. Quinn, and he said in a rather curt tone: "What are you doing back here"??. He did an X-Ray, and when he came back into the examination room, he said: "You have Arthritis". He did not show me the X-Ray, or discuss what might possibly be wrong. I did not have "Arthritis" in my four fingers, prior to the graft procedure. I have lost significant range of motion, and I can no longer throw a Football. I exercise the hand daily, as if I do not, my hand will feel very stiff. I am reluctant to follow up again, with Dr. Quinn, as I feel it would be fruitless, to do so.

Dr Quinn was recommended to me by my PC due to severe pain in my thumbs! I went to see Dr Quinn and he explained in detail what was wrong with my thumbs and after having surgery I can say that I am very happy to be able to use my thumbs again!! Dr Quinn listens to you, explains to you a plan to help you get better and asks if you have any questions and if you do he will spend the time answering them for you! I would recommend Dr David Quinn to my family and friends!!!

Horrible dr with no heart. Came in to get X-rays on a knee fracture. He never looked at my X-rays or answered my questions in regards o what the diagnosis was. Instead he disrespected me and belittled me in front of my significant other and 2 other doctors that were present in the room. He definitely needs to find a new professional he is awful do not go to him if you want to be treated with dignity and be respected

went to see Dr. Quinn about 31/2 yrs ago to fix my Carpal Tunnel on right hand but after the surgery I still had trouble and I felt it was not done properly. My Carpal Tunnel got a lot worse over the last couple of yrs and so I went back to him. Big Mistake !! After the second surgery could not straighten out Trigger finger, my thumb was completely numb for months and had a lot of pain behind the thumb which ran down to my wrist and arm. when I told him this he couldn't explain it. Not Happy !!!

SawvDr. Quinn because he is supposedly a specialist in care of hands and my profession requires the use of my hand. On initial visit, he barely spent time with me, noted the fracture and instructed staff to apply a soft cast. On follow up visit, staff did x-rays but he never looked at them. I asked about the results 3 times, never got an answer to my questions and at one point he said he doubted there was a fx despite applying a cast three weeks before. Terrible care and didn't care.
