Dr. David Pope, MD

He wasted our time and money on an injury he knew he could not fix. After several visits and an MRI, he referred us to another doctor because he could not perform the needed surgery. He did not take our pain very seriously. We had to start over again with a new doctor.

I started seeing Dr Pope 7 years ago. He was recommended from a friend who was pleased with him. I had a miniscus tear which he repaired. I have been his patient ever since. He just did a full knee replacement. We exhausted all other treatments before I made the decision to have surgery. He was great to work with. He answered all my questions. Dr Pope never hurried me and was always professional and cheerful. I felt very comfortable with him. The staff was great and always returned my calls quickly. If you are looking for a great Dr , I would definitely make an appointment with him.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Pope and his staff. Dr. Pope performed an ACL reconstruction on my right knee. He was recommended to me by a personal friend that is an Orthopedic Physician's Assistant - her doctor doesn't do knee work, but I described what the issue was and she said absolutely go see Dr. Pope because that is who she would choose. Dr. Pope correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired my knee. I am now 4 years post-op and that knee is still perfect.

Dr. Pope's staff are very professional, courteous, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel important. Dr. Pope always come in the room smiling and happy to see me. He is a very professional doctor, who knows his profession. I do recommend him to all my friends as nd family.

Dr. Pope has performed a ACL reconstruction and meniscectomy with great results. I had a previous ACL repair on the same knee which I believe was a failed surgery. I have not had any issues since my second repair. Dr. Pope's staff is excellent. They will call back in a timely manner and try to accommodate my schedule when I need to be seen.

Originally started with another doctor at B&J but changed when he told my college age daughter that she didn’t need crutches or support while she waited for repair of her complete ACL tear. Dr. Pope is lovely. He patiently explained her injury, drew pictures, explained the procedure and follow up. I have suffered from a knee problem since I was a child. I have been to several doctors and had three surgeries before I found Dr. Pope. He is the first doctor to actually listen to me and believe that I knew my body better than he did. He listened and asked questions and didn't dismiss me. And, he performed the surgery that has fixed my knee. It's been over a year and I have had no problems! In the age of managed care, I never felt rushed with Dr. Pope. Professional and caring.

I was referred to Dr. Pope by Dr. Lawrence J. Messina, M.D. who was my doctor for years. I needed surgery because of a Torn Meniscus. During my first visit with Dr. Pope he put my considers at ease. He explained what I needed to be done as out patient, the time of recovery and physical therapy. There were complications with the Anesthesia and I was admitted to the hospital. Dr. Pope returned to the hospital after hours to check on my condition. He has the best doctor to patient considers.

I have been a patient since 1999. I have recommended this doctor to anyone I know who needs a good orthopedic doctor. Excellent doctor and wonderful bedside manner. You can't go wrong!

Dr. Pope did a complete knee replacement on my left leg. He is one terrific surgeon. Really cares about his patients. Willing to answer all questions and never rushes to get the appointment over. I would highly recommend to anyone having knee problems.

I have been a patient of Dr. Popes for 15 Years. I cannot envision another Dr. treating me as professionally or as successfully through my numerous orthopedic issues. Dr. Popes staff is as helpful as can be and is easy to reach for any needed support. Dr. Pope actually came to the hospital to operate on me on his day off when I was involved in a serious automobile accident.Since then he has replaced both knees successfully while compensating for other side health issues I have developed.

Several visits to Dr Pope and several expensive tests did not solve my problem. Dr. Pope seems experienced and knowledgable but in my case he couldn't help me and I felt that my pain was not taken seriously. Very disappointed.
