Dr. David Pizzano, DPM

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Dr. David Pizzano and the staff at New Jersey Foot & Ankle Institute. From the front desk, to the nurses, and the doctor, each and every one of them were courteous, professional, and made my visit very comfortable. My wait time in both the waiting room and the exam room was a short one. I highly recommend them!

Great experience! Dr. Pizzano is very attentive and professional. The associates, assistants, receptionists are very nice and professional. Office and all areas are neat and clean. Definitely will come back again and recommend to everyone.

I had the Cartiva Implant. Within one year the pain had returned. I returned to the doctor who had done the implant & was told I had a 'bone spur'. The doctor said the 'bone spur' was causing my problems & nothing could be done. I believed them. January 2024, the pain from my 'bone spur' was excruciating. I needed an answer & decided to seek a 2nd opinion. I found Dr. Pizzano on Healthgrades & went to meet with him. Beyond the pain issues, I was concerned that I lived out of state. Immediatley, Dr Pizzano made me feel at ease & heard. As far as being out of state, he was very accommodating & worked with me on how we could make it all work. Took xrays, saw the problem & came up with a plan. It turns out I did not have a 'bone spur', the Cartiva Implant had failed. Within a few weeks of this diagnosis, Dr. Pizzano installed the OsteoMed Hemi Great Toe Implant. The surgery was very easy for me, & the staff were amazing. I am now three weeks post-surgery, and my recovery is on track.

I got fitted for the orthotics for the 3rd time and finally have something that's comfortable and functional when I work out. Insurance covered 90% too so that was great!

I met the friendly staff who greeted me with enthusiasm and professionalism. The medical assistant who recorded my medical history and the reason for my visit was as professional as the front staff. Dr. Pizzano was reassuring and made me feel at ease the minute I met him. He discussed my treatment plan and I was very relieved to hear that my condition was easily managed. After several surgeries from a different provider, I reinjured my foot. I was recommended to him by a nurse in the emergency room. I was told that he was the best as he had previously treated both him and his spouse. For the first time, I felt like all my needs, questions, and concerns were met. The office staff was professional and friendly, making me extremely comfortable and at ease. Dr. Pizzano was compassionate and listened and answered every one of my questions in detail. I never felt rushed in any of my appointments. He is truly an excellent doctor and would trust him and his staff with any other foot or ankle problems that I may have in the future. I highly recommend Dr.Pizzano to anyone who needs a specialist in this field.

Dr Pizzano is a great doctor! I recently saw him for a foot and an ankle problem and he was able to help me resolve both in just a few visits. Each recommendation was spot on. He’s patient and knowledgeable and obviously cares a lot about his patients. The staff is also great and helpful. It’s always a pleasure to visit this office. I would highly recommend Dr Pizzano for any foot and ankle issues you may experience.
