Best primary care doctor in Santa Barbara
I am a 78 yr old male patient… so needless to say I have seen my share of doctors. Dr Phreaner and his nurse Natalie are the best team I have ever encountered. They are focused and detail oriented while being very pleasant, friendly and comforting. I have had cancer, heart disease and many more medical challenges and he was always quick to refer me to a specialist for the best care possible when needed. What I like best about Dr Phreaner is after my time with my specialist he was always there to help me sort through and better understand my options going forward.

Fantastic & Caring Dr!
Dr Phraener is the best PRIMARY CARE Dr. I have ever seen! He is compassionate, listens to all my concerns & medical issues. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very caring & did not rush my time with him. He had great suggestions and I was thrilled with his referrals to specialists. It was very easy to make an appointment, even on short notice. I did not have to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. His medical assistant & receptionist are always friendly and smiling. I would highly recommend him. He is always very prompt in returning any of my questions or prescription requests, through MY CHART. His state of the art Covid screening device in the waiting room, was very reassuring for my safety.

Dr. Phreaner is kind, patient, and thorough. His has always steered me in the right path when going to specialists and has a deep understanding of general practice. I recommend him whole-heartedly.

Dr phraenor is the best dr at sansum clinic. He's caring, nice, and he always has time for me and all my questions. I trust him with my life and if he's unsure he'll be honest and send me to a specialist. I recommend him whole heartedly and i feel so bad for all of you bc he doesn't take more patients. Plus he's just super cool, I mean he rides dirt bikes.

I always felt rushed and unimportant anytime I had an appointment with Dr. Phreaner. Not very attentive or sympathetic.
