This doctor, and I use that term lightly, has been treating my grandmother for years. Over the past several months, she went to see him for various problems she was having. He would do bloodwork during her visit, tell her nothing was wrong, and send her home. Because he did not diagnose my grandmothers 5 DIFFERENT ISSUES (which would have easily shown up in the bloodwork), she ended up in the hospital and is now fighting for her life. I would never recommend this man to anyone!

Dr.Phillips needs to retire NOW!!! my mother went to him very sick, yet he pretty much said nothing was wrong, did no test of any kind!!! Four days later she fell and was taken to the hospital. No injuries from the fall, BUT she was dehydrated. Had a severe UTI, kidney infection, a bleeding ulcer and gall stones. She has been in the hospital for 8 days and pretty much given up!!!!! I wouldn't take my dog to him!!!!!

David Phillips is probably the worst doctor I have ever been to. He has absolutely no bedside manner. He is mean spirited and does not listen to his patients. I do not trust his opinions, he explains nothing. If you ask him a question he does not take the time to listen. He is right and your wrong in his eyes. Very, very condescending. I have seen him raise his voice to his patients (including me) if you question him. It appears that he does not care about his patients any longer.

Dr. Phillips has cared for my parents for many years. I have to take them both in to see him now. I’m very impressed with the office staff. They’re extremely sensitive to the patients needs and are very courteous. The Nurse (Vicky) is like a tornado in that place, she knows literally everything about every patient, even remembers their names. Dr. Phillips had to speak with my father about something that wasn’t pleasant for my Dad, but Dr. Phillips was gentle, compassionate, and showed concerned.

Unless I missed something, gauging by what a few people told me, I think Dr. Phillips is a fantastic doctor. As a US Veteran, I receive little or no help from the Mobile Veterans clinic. So in my search, I came across Dr. Phillips and glad I did. He and his staff are courteous, proficient and punctual, unlike the VA and other local physicians. I'm pleased to return and refer Dr. Phillips to all I know. Thank you Dr. Phillips and staff.
