Funny, Sassy and Warm
Dr. Pfeffer is knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and gave us options for kidney stone issues. He was honest and I appreciate him telling it to me straight. He's funny and lets you banter back with him. I'm an anxious patient and I felt comfortable with him without a second opinion. As a female you can tell if a doc truly cares about a patient and knows what is best based on his experience. I appreciated that. After a procedure he came to see me and warm, although I was out of it. He spoke to my husband after as well who was in the waiting room. He's happy to answer any question and always ask me if I have more to call in.

not at all
failed to show up for appointment. Staff incompetent. got two text messages confirming appointment the day before and the day of the appointment. when arrived doctor had planned vacation. never let me know.

Dr Pfeffer has been my trusted urologist over many years as we watched my PSA numbers slowly progress. Currently under treatment for enlarged prostrate. He always explained the treatment options in detail so an informed decision could be made.

With the bedside manner of a bed post, he's not a bad doctor. Performed minor surgery on me and turned out fine. Scheduled a second follow up cystoscope that I had to cancel twice because I was sick each time. I have chronic kidney disease. So now he won't see me anymore! I would say that that is arrogance.

I had to go in with my newborn and 2 year old, to say I was dreading it is an understatement, but the staff was so incredibly helpful. They got us in and out quickly. Dr. Pfeffer was happy to answer my questions and assuage my concerns.

Unfortunately Dr Pfeffer was rude and made me feel like an inconvenience. If he was upset with my referring physician, he should not have taken it out on me. Maybe he had a bad day or was in a foul mood, either way, I'm not coming back.
