Dr. David Pearce, MD

Dr. David E. Pearce is an EXCELLENT general surgeon. I am a 74-year-old female who has had my fair share of procedures and surgeries. My most recent was February 5, 2022, when I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. Dr. Pearce was my surgeon. He was friendly, kind, very attentive, and knowledgeable. He showed great concern for my comfort, explained his role regarding my surgery, and answered all of my questions. The surgery was a success without any complications. From our first meeting through my follow-up office visit, my husband and I were kept well informed, treated with dignity and respect, and knew we had been in gifted hands. Dr. Pearce has over 40 years of experience in the medical field. That alone is worthy of 10 stars. I highly recommend Dr. Pearce.

I walked in the office on the defense due to reading the negative comments on here. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was not anything close to what I read. The two ladies behind the desk were very friendly and sweet. Dr. Pearce, while he did not spend much time with me for the consult, was still pleasant enough and very efficient. Minimal small talk but that is fine with me. A very good experience overall.

This guy has the worst manners of any doctor I've ever seen. Spent 30 seconds for a post-op consult, wouldn't answer questions, wouldn't look at surgery incisions, dismissive of concerns. Avoid this man at all costs.

I had Laparoscopic Bilateral Inguinal Hernia surgery(on both sides of my groin) 6 weeks ago. Surgery was a complete success and I fully recovered with no problems. Dr. Pearce called me at home the day after surgery to check on me. Dr. Pearce is a knowledgeable, competent, experienced professional doctor. I was also very pleased with Spohn Hospital South (Saratoga) facilities. I would highly recommend Dr. Pearce for this kind of surgery.

i wish I could give negative stars. His staff is rude and condescending. Their behavior mirrors his. He has absolutely no compassion or decency and brags about how mean he is. He told us he did not care about patients. I asked why he was so mean & he laughed and said his grandchildren think he is mean too. When I had questions about my care he told me he did not care and that he was there just to look at the wounds. He let me know his patients only get 5 minutes. His office is dirty to

I went for a cysts took my 60$ and said they don't cover it they knew what I was going for before the visit the staff was rude he saw me 2 minutes

Rude and unprofessional office staff. Signed in on time for my appointment, After an hour, the staff ignored and never acknowledged my presence, never gave me new patient forms to fill out or took my insurance information/cards. When I informed them (front desk) that I had been there over an hour and I was cancelling my appointment, their attitude was one of indifference. This was my first and last visit to this office.
