Dr. Parks was always very kind, listened and seemed to care. He does run behind because he takes as much time as needed by each his patients. I wish he was still practicing but I've not seem him in over 2 years at least. NPs come and go and I've found that only a couple have had a good bedside manner and weren't rude. The office staff for the most part are nice but can sometimes come across as they're not in a healthcare business wherein the patient is the one paying for a service (insurance or not) and hence their salary and not the other way around.

Always hours behind. Staff not very professional. It's a pill mill with 1 old doctor and an officious NP and PA who do nothing but hand out Schedule-II prescriptions. There must be at least 50 chairs in the waiting room, and none of these people look like they have AIDS, and Parks is an "HIV" doc. Each exam room has signage reminding you to schedule your next appt. for all kinds of pain meds and ADD meds EARLY for convenience. I would only send someone here I really hated. I got out of there!

I was a patient here for over fourteen years. The final year was a disaster of lost appointments, labs, & weeks of waiting to get Dr. Parks to actually see you. They now use Nurse Practitioners with a high turnover rate. They leave & your paperwork & labs would disappear with them. They see themselves as never in the wrong. But I used their online patient portal to communicate sometimes with them & I have the screenshots of how they acted unprofessional. They ate quick to clap back at anyone who

If you're looking for a Dr. who cares and will take his time with you during your appointment, then Dr. Parks is the best. He's not about rushing through your appointment, he takes his time listening to you and recommending a course of treatment you are comfortable with. Yes, sometimes you do have to wait awhile for your appointment. But, in my opinion, it's worth it. The entire staff is helpful and caring.

I have been seeing Dr Parks since 2002. Great Dr. I was in pretty bad shape by the time I found him, and I'm still here today because of him. So you make ghtvhave to wait a little longer past your appt time to see him. He will listen to all you important medical issues and then start to resolve them one by one. I even moved out of state and come back to see Dr parks. I couldn't find a compatible doctor in my state.

Yes, you will probably have a wait, but Dr Parks is the only physician I know of that really does take his time with you and responds to your needs. I really am soo happy to have him as my physician for so many years. I would recommend him to everyone. Chad is awesome! So helpful and empathetic!

He sent me to ER because I couldn't breath. I waited 10 hours at ER before realizing they weren't going to see me. Next day he sent me to a different ER. Same thing, only this time all patients waiting insisted I was next but they refused to see me. Next day my caseworker took me to another hospital without informing Dr office. I had pleurisy. My caseworker found that Parks' nurse was calling ahead claiming I was drug seeking. I wouldn't entrust my dog with Parks and his staff.

Your appointment WILL be late. Maybe even if you are the first person of the day (I'm just guessing--based on his amazing ability to be late :) ). However, the reason your appointment will be late is because, unlike other doctors, he spends all the time you need discussing your concerns. He does that with everyone and it really shows in his time management problem. I keep going though because he talks to me like an adult and take the time needed with each patient.
