Everything I can say about Charleston Cornea & Refractive Surgery. is nothing but good. Dr O'Day is one of the best and most attentive Doctors in the medical field I have ever encountered. I trust him 110%.

It was great! There was a bit of a wait but the technicians performed several tests as did Dr O'Day. I have been seeing a dry eye specialist for years but no one has ever given me these tests which detected the type of dry eye condition that I have. He explained it thoroughly which I really appreciated. After a few days I really noticed a difference!

Unlike other Doctors that I sought opinions from, Dr. O’Day didn’t try to upsell me lenses that would be useless for me. During my exam for cataracts he told me the basic lens was the only one that would do me any good because of a previous macular hole surgery. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. Had the surgery and my sight is great. I found him and his staff to be kind caring and friendly. I highly recommend Dr.O’Day

The worst physician EVER. Did my LASIK eye surgery and my vision is worse then man before and now my right cornea is loose and I have to see a cornea specialist because of Dr. O’Day. He needs to be reported to the medical board.

I went for a consultation on a Thursday with LASIK already schedule on Saturday. The doctor didn't even stay to meet with me, I heard the staff trying to rush through my apt because he " had to leave by 5:15" Then come to find out the left. They even went as far as dilating my eyes knowing I wasn't having a consultation. Then Olivia tried to lie and tell me he needed to crunch my numbers so we would have to reschedule the procedure! Do not go here, he doesn't care about his patients only making money!

Very kind and knowledgeable staff at both locations. I especially liked the North Charleston office. Amber was a delight and made me feel comfortable with the procedure.

Terrible office staff - very unhelpful & they don't tell you anything. The tech on my first visit got one of the test results wrong. Should have walked out then. Dr. O'Day caused an abrasion on my eye during the first cataract procedure. He tells you nothing & interprets a patient's concern as a criticism-he gets very defensive. He should retire. I did not want to go back and have him do the second eye. Unfortunately I did and have had problems with cloudiness, reflections from the lens, a constant twitch and it's been over 3 months. I am going to another Dr. to have him check it out.

His staff very pushy to move forward with Lasik procedure with no dr. Consult. Felt like I was just revenue. First staff member basically ignored me through exams. Finally met a 'closer' who just wanted to push through my concerns to get surgery scheduled.

Dr. O'Day is an excellent physician but his office staff does not know how to properly schedule either an office visit or hospital surgery time. Today is the third time the office has told my husband or myself that we were scheduled for a specific time at the hospital only to get there and find out the hospital schedule had us down four hours later. We have spent countless hours in his office and the hospital and for this reason I would not recommend him.

After having significant issues with dry eyes, I received 3 ThemiEyes treatments at Charleston Cornea & Refractive Surgery. Not only have all of my issues with dry eyes have been remedied, I look 10 years younger!! I only wish that I knew about this treatment sooner. I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone with dry eye issues or anyone that wants to look younger without any major procedures. This was quick, easy, and painless.

Over the past 10 years, Dr. O'Day and his staff have been extremely friendly, informative and caring during all of my MANY visits. I had many concerns and questions about my various eye problems and each time Dr. O'Day took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and my options for best taking care of my eyes. He has been an excellent physician and I wouldn't let anyone else do surgery on my eyes.

Great staff, extremely good customer service, friendly, knowledgeable. I spent there a long time with all their high tech machines, which were many, a lot more than any place I have been to before. The place I went to before (in Mount Pleasant too and all before that also) had given me a wrong prescription and I could not see well because of that. Dr. O'Day is the best eye doctor I have ever been to in my whole life and the most affordable too. I would highly recommend him and his office.

Over the past 17 years I have had nothing but excellent experiences. But today was the worst customer service experience I have ever had, Maybe its because the staff is new but unacceptable. I was there in December for a full 3 hr exam and forgot my SC DOT form for the eye test at the DMV. I was told to print the form and bring it in with a self addressed envelope and Dr O'Day would fill it out and mail it to me. But today when I arrived was informed I would have to schedule a tech visit fo

Dr. O'Day was very friendly along with his staff. Waiting time was outstanding. Explained procedure and was very considerate during surgery.
