Could have done things a lot better, seemed like he simply does not care. Maybe burnt out?

Bad doctor
i wish i could give more than 1 stars but in good conscious cannot. This is a rude doctor who seems to not know what he's doing. Treated my elderly mom very poorly.

As prior trauma surgeon I recommend him to others!
I have had 5 back surgeries over the years. Prior to the surgeries I was a trauma surgeon. I am very picky about my physicians especially ones sticking needles near my spine. He is very knowledgeable, professional and with excellent clinical skills. I imagine many of us are unhappy due to the issue surrounding our pain which can sometimes manifest as anger towards the providers and unrealistic assumptions. Dr. Nguyen is always professional, optimistic yet balancing that well with the realities and expectations of interventions during discussion regarding procedures. He has a professional staff that support the patients during these challenging potentially anxiety provoking procedures.

  • Listened & answered questions
  • Explained conditions well

  • Trusted the provider's decisions

Avoid if possible.
Meet him in emerg. Did not take a history. Did not listen to a word I said. Then proceeded to tell me my problem. Then entered my visit into the record and just made stuff up. Arrogant.... worst physician I've seen in 40 years

Fantastic Doctor! I went to see him after seeing a different PMR doctor nearby. She told me I had spinal problems and wanted to put me on pills that would make me tired. I went to see Dr. Nguyen, he diagnosed me with SI Joint pain and have me a shot of steroids on each side. I felt better almost immediately and have enjoyed pain relief for months afterwards.
