Got me healthy again
I saw Dr Miller after being treated by my PCP for a cough over 2 months. After the pulmonary function test and Dr Miller examing me, he prescribed a plan of treatment that had me feeling better in a couple of days. He took time to explain things to me and answer my questions.

Horrible bedside manner
Very insensitive to patients needs and little empathy for what you’re going through. Too judgmental for a doctor to be of value. He has his own preconceived image of you and does very little to treat you. He accused me of not using my required home external ventilator for 4 total months and said he couldn’t do anything more for me, with my grown son sitting there with me. Never did he think his report might be incorrect, he prejudged and dismissed my needs for testing that was scheduled that day or further treatment. I checked with the managing company and they said he probably didn’t pull report right, as I’m in total compliance of using ventilator min of 4 hrs a day. I refuse to go back to him. The other doctors in this group are just as bad. This practice is a joke!

I liked him, I thought he was fine. My PCP sent me to him to see if he thought I needed a sleep study which he didn’t, and neither did I. I just went because my PCP thought I should. I got the bill for it, I was with him probably 20 to 25 minutes and it was $450. I just called the billing department to see why and she said that’s what it costs for a consult with him. The thing that gets me is, I went at my PCP‘s insistence, I knew it was going to be a waste of time. I have been to many specialists over the years and none of them charged anywhere near that. I am disgusted, to say the least.

Now that I have seen Dr. Miller, I would never recommend him to anyone. He might know what he is doing, but he is insensitive, quick, and impersonable. I was very sick and he didn't seem to care. He talked too fast for me to keep up. Thank God, I had my husband with me to help me understand. The wait time in the waiting room was long, he sent me for labwork then return for another long wait to receive a cortisone shot that a nurse gave me. I had to give a star in order for my review to be accepted, otherwise I wouldn't give even one star.
