Life saver
Very knowledgeable and straight forward… Dr. Masiello will and has helped in every way possible… His loyal treatment has played a vital roll in my successful recovery of colorectal cancer… (so far no signs of any cancer…) He’s a life saver and for that I’ll be forever grateful .

Does not understand current and best procedures for DCIS. Outdated and cruel methodologies.

Lack of Communication After Disappointing Scans
My friend has stage 4 liver cancer, and up until a couple weeks ago has been happy with Dr. Masiello. That is until scans showed chemo wasn’t working, and she is trying to get approval for alternate medications. Since then the office phone has been constantly busy, or no one picks up. She has also gone in to speak to the doctor in person, but office staff was not happy she came without an appointment. My friend has been so patient, and only wants communication. I asked for the name of her dr. in hopes I can find a way for someone to contact her. She has no idea I am writing this, but I will continue to reach out until I can find her help. Time is of the essence.

Top notch
He is the best doctor I have ever seen. He is straightforward in his approach. But, don’t let that deceive you. I have never been so well cared for or felt like a doctor was advocating for me than with Dr. Masiello. He never rushes, he explains things thoroughly, his intelligence is off the charts. He is proactive and finds ways to get me what I need in terms of testing, procedures, insurance approvals, and medicines from the manufacturer when insurance won’t cover the costs. He is a beacon of light.

Thorough, plain-talking, and knowledgeable. I have seen Dr. Masiello for a number of years and feel lucky to be under his care. I am not familiar with the Oxnard office as I see him in the Rancho Mirage office.
