Not treated well
Was made to wait for over one hour for first appointment, met with the MD for 10 minutes and told to return in 2 weeks. Second visit saw his PA who treated me like a drug seeker.

I am not impressed
I have been a patient for more than a year. Petra is his PA. She actually refused to allow me to stop the oxycodone and try a different muscle relaxer instead. The next day I was in front after an actual MD who actually cared and made a huge difference in my condition by perscribing what was needed. No thanks to this team. That was strike 3.

Good doctor handicapped by really, really bad, incompetent, uncaring and sometimes outright nasty office staff. Wait times are appalling and should be addressed through more professional approach to scheduling.

Very nice man. Did not explain my condition, staff did not impress me, seem rather confused, rather rude, very long wait times, over an hour, and phone calls not returned.

Dr.Levi & staff are the most compassionate, understanding group I have ever had. I say this confidentiality. They listen, try to come up with a plan. I never leave feeling as if I wasn’t heard. Even now with all that’s going on. The staff has been understanding, helpful with all the uncertainty. I wish he could be PM. ;) This is how much I trust Dr.Levi & his staff.

Dr Levi's assistant called me to say that my rheumatologist had made a referral (I wasn't aware of it). When I called back to make a first appointment, his assistant told me that he would only agree to see me if the visit were "coordinated with your psychiatrist". I asked why this was, and she said something vague about "issues in your medical record." This is discrimination. First of all, I don't have a psychiatrist. I have been badly harmed by psychiatry on multiple occasions and I am strong enough to have survived what these doctors put me through. Even if I did have a psychiatrist, I would never agree to such a condition. If a doctor doesn't respect me enough to believe my own account of my mental and physical experience, that doctor is in no way going to be able to do anything but cause more harm to me.

Dr. Levi is only there once a week for injections so you have to see one of the p.a.s. The p.a.s often treat you like they don't believe you. Every time you try to call them they either don't answer or you leave voicemail and never follow through or call back. Every time I need an x-ray or MRI, they never send over all the notes and reason to radiologist. The radiologist has called numerous times in the past few weeks and either they leave voicemail that aren't answered or talk to m.a.s that say they will tell p.a. to send that day and never do. I also have called multiple times and left messages because they never answer. This is ridiculous!! This is pain management and you never can see Dr. unless you're getting injections, he is very nice the few times I've seen him. The p.a.s are always in a rush and never follow through when you need them to send notes, etc. to radiologist. I feel like they don't care or believe you. This is horrible patient service!

I went to Dr. Levi on a recommendation to alleviate minor back pain with an epidural. During the procedure, he missed the correct spot in my spine and hit my nerve instead. An extremely painful electrical bolt shot down my leg. He casually said,"I found it!"as if that's what he meant to do. His nurse did a routine check up phone call the next day. A week later, I called the office still in pain and they never called me back. A few weeks after that, the pain was so severe that I couldn't even sit down and I ended up in the ER. I called to the office to let them know, and when they called me back, the nurse said I just needed to have another shot. It's been 3 months now and I'm physically not the same. I'm seeing another pain specialist, going to PT sessions twice a week, and taking pain medication. I was told it might take up to a year to heal, and that's if it heals at all. Physically my life has changed, and the pain, time, and money involved has been overwhelming. Avoid this doctor!

Terrible experience. Not only the Dr, ALL the STAFF TOO!. I went to this Dr D. Levi because other doctors failed to help me n this doctor was no different. A lot of lip service and that’s about all. I waited forever for my first office visit couldn’t even get copies from Fatima acted like there was something wrong with me when I expressed waiting 55 minutes was way too long. I am not ambulatory and my legs cannot stay down for a long period of time. No one there cared. I did the new MRI suggeste. Dr was going to review it with the other one I had done in 2017 at YALE then changed his mind. He wanted to see me 2Weeks after. In reality his office schedule 6 to 8 weeks afterwards. On holiday if patient needs help Drs must be there. that’s their job. Do not take new patients if you R overloaded. I contacted health department & BBB also medicare to not pay bill! This was a waste of my time. I have to start over again I hope I Find a real Dr. Why Do Drs do this? Ofc. Mngr Mellissa no help!

I walked out of the doctors office after waiting 1hr and 15 minutes and seeing another patient who was booked for the same 1:30PM appt. slot walk into the examination room ahead of me. We, as patients, make every effort to be at doctor appointments on time and the least the doctors can do is not double or triple schedule at the same time. I walked in with bad pain in my shoulder and walked out with a pain in my butt.

You won't find a smarter, more compassionate doctor than Dr. Levi. He is an exceptional problem solver for any spinal condition you are suffering with. With the crackdown on opioids due to so many overdoses, Dr. Levi is using many other non-addictive, effective ways to treat pain. Yes, you may wait, and yes, it is a very busy office, but this doctor is a diamond among so many cubic zirconias out there. He isn't just lip service when he says he cares and he will help alleviate your pain; he is the real deal.
