Dr. David Konstandt, MD

He needs a whole new office staff! When they finally answer the phone, it's unfriendly and with bad attitude! Dr Konstandt is great!!!! But needs to make some changes!!!

Dr. Kondstandt seems like a great doctor when you meet him, but his office is so terribly run and his staff are so awful that there is no way he isn’t aware of it. Any doctor that is comfortable with their patients receiving poor care, coordination, and follow up is not worth seeing. His nurses, techs, and PAs are rude to put it mildly. He himself does not follow up and will not talk on the phone to patients according to his triage nurse. If this is not true, then it speaks to how poor his staff is that she would tell patients this and manage his calls in this manner. He is surely aware that people receive poor care and have negative interactions with his team, especially considering the horrible reviews he receives about them on every platform possible. As the leader of his practice, it’s evident he does not care enough to manage the staff better or build a culture around patient experience.

Worst most uncaring unprofessional and most incompetent Dr on the planet.Told my husband he had totally removed a growth in his bladder and one day after the surgery my husband almost died of complication from the majority of the growth inside his bladder.which another urologist attempted to remove.After which he spent 8 days in ICU .LATER THIS INHUMAMANE so called Dr came to my husbands hospital room and told him the problem couldn’t be fixed and he should just prepare to dieI recommend run from this person as fast as you can!!

My experience with Dr. Konstandt started off great. He treated me for Kidney Stones. My last procedure I informed him the stone had moved. I obtained (Demanded) an X-ray minutes prior to my procedure. I told him I just had an X-ray. He said the stone was in the same place and performed the procedure. His documentation indicated he eradicated the stone. I never passed any blood or stone fragments afterwards. The X-ray I took just prior to my procedure, reviewed by an independent Radiologist, indicated the stone was not located in where it was previously. I immediately scheduled an MRI and the stone was located near my bladder, rather than the junction where the Kidney meets the urethra. I went to a new practice/Doctor and had to have another invasive procedure to actually remove the large stone. This practice only cares about money and not the patient. Dr. Konstandt does not accept any responsibility for his actions. I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy!

We are very pleased with the services and treatment we receive everytime we go to his office. Very thorough, attentive to our questions and concerns. He has taken care of my husband for over three years. We are very pleased.

Dr. Konstandt is an excellent doctor. We are writing to express our deep gratitude for the medical care my husband received from Dr.Konstandt Dr. Konstandt is very knowledgeable in his field of medicine; he displays a keen professionalism combined with a warm “bedside” manner; and he is willing to go the proverbial “extra mile” for his patients. We were truly touched by his thoroughness and his caring and compassionate treatment. Grateful to have a doctor who exemplifies the meaning of "doctor." The Staff is excellent and very professional too.

Diagnosed with prostate cancer 8 years ago and moving here from out of state, I have been seeing Dr. Konstandt now for 3 years. He has been proactive treating my condition and I am now responding with new meds better than ever. With a recent procedure as well, I felt confident in his care. I find him to be easy to talk to, he listens and is compassionate as well. He is top notch in my book. Also can't say enough great things about his staff, great communication from his office and especially the wonderful care I have received from his nurses. It means a lot to me and also to my wife

Following an elevated PSA, I met with Dr. Konstandt and had a prostate biopsy. First poor experience was during the biopsy procedure when I distinctly heard his nursing assistant giggling. Not what you want to hear during this event. Secondly, given the results of this test, Dr. Konstandt seemed highly motivated to push for a very expensive procedure that is not covered by insurance while every bit of literature that I have read, including a second opinion from Johns Hopkins, indicated a radically different, and patient approach. It so happens that his practice actively advertises for this procedure. I respect Dr. Konstandt, and he is experienced, but I did not have a great experience with this practice.

My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and we were referred to Dr. Konstandt. After visiting with Dr. Konstandt, he exceeded all expectations. He is compassionate, attentive, and extremely brilliant! If you are looking for an ethical Urologist that is on the front end of the best methodology in the Urology space, Dr. Konstandt is a tremendous option!

Best Urologist in this state. Knows his trade, stays up to date with treatment knowledge. Very,very good Surgeon, Offers the Highest Dignity possible with his Staff.

I found I had an elevated PSA so had an urgent need to find a Urologist for a biopsy. This doctor attempted to call me at 7:30pm on a Fri nite to talk with me about my results but I missed his call so was left hanging all weekend. Missed another call from him Monday morning but again would never return my call. Finally a NURSE told me the news that I have an aggressive cancer in my prostate. To this date I've still never heard from this Dr. Now I've had all my results sent to a real professional
