Zero compassion Arrogant
He may be a good doctor depending upon what you are seeing him for.I found him arrogant, condescending and lacking compassion. Will definitely be seeking other opinions and would not return. Maybe others will have better experiences.

I meet Dr. Konanc today, for an initial consultation, and it was a great experience! He was very intelligent, personable, engaging, and thorough. He asked many questions, did an excellent job of informing me of what he was doing. He did many initial test, and came up with a plan of action to do further testing etc. I’d highly recommend him to anyone that needs to see a neurological!

Arrogant to the point of being cruel
My wife visited this doctor as a follow up to a visit a year ago. My wife has periodic episodes of falling and cognitive dysfunction that last about two weeks. She is fine for a couple of months and then the episodes recur. She has severe arthritis, fibromyalgia and asthma. She has a pain doctor who prescribes hydrocodone with acetaminophen. In her visit with Konanc he was dismissive of her, told her that she falls because she is a delusional drug addict and he wanted nothing to do with her. He also told her he would be sending a notice to our family doctor to say she is a drug addict. My wife is 80 YEARS OLD and takes only the meds that are prescribed for her. We will be taking action against this cruel excuse for a doctor!

Awful, horrible, terrible physician
Don't waste your time seeing him! Wait until you can see ANYONE else even if the only option is a mop. If you DO want to be served a steaming helping of condescension, irritability, and "I'm better than you and, by God, when may I finally retire and collect my benefits so I can stop degrading myself by mingling with the filthy, common folk," THEN by all means, enjoy your appointment!

Dr. Konanc is skilled, caring, and always willing to answer questions. The injections I get in my back muscles can be quite painful, so he helps by explaining exactly what he is doing and counts down after each injection. He also provides a bag of ice for my comfort on my 2 1/2 hour drive back home. I highly recommend him.
