Great dr. To talk to listens to you. Downfall hard to get to answer emails and.messages. has worked with me over the weekends . When I was needing someone e to talk to.

He will be a tough act to follow
Telehealth
He will be a tough act to follow. Dr. K left the practice recently and he was by far the best doctor I ever had. It helps that he was a scientist before becoming a doctor because he approached all the questions like a scientist instead of just a rubber stamp technician. He understood how the drugs worked with the brain and knew how to connect behaviors to neurochemistry. I had a complicated case and he got me from suicidal to stable health in 5 years. He gave me hope. I put up with the infuriatingly disorganized office staff at Mind Body in Dover just to be able to see him. He was getting old and I knew he wouldn't be around forever. He had to retire someday. I wish it was not yet.

Ghosted me after false promises
Telehealth
Needed a simple letter written in relation to my disability. Told me he would write it and then ghosted me the week after. Even verified he didn’t forget a few days after appt.

He does NOT support his patients if you have a question, problem, or even need a simple prescription refill. He WILL NOT RESPOND. I am 3 wks without medication that was his job to properly refill. My guess is he has taken on way too many patients and the money is too alluring to trade for good medical support of the patients he can properly manage. Shameful.

He's left me waiting for 40 minutes past my appointment time on MULTIPLE occasions. He seems to just want to dump medications on everything even though I ask for suggestions for holistic and homeopathic approaches.

I have been seeing Dr Kalkstein for 5 years. He has taken me through some tough times and probably saved my life. When I was in a crisis I would book an extended appointment and it was always worth the money.
